Winter Chill Out 2015

I guess we'll see. I'll be in the area earlier in the day regardless checking in and processing, im just ready to ride some coasters.

Whatever makes you happy, it's different for everyone. It is silly to wait outside the gate all day for a park to open for only three hours with limited ride availability.

I don't see any incentive to get there early. This isn't Black Friday where you need to line up early to get the doorbuster deals.

Aren't you the one that said you don't see any reason to go at all, Thabto? I hardly would say you are an unbiased source of information to say that people should or shouldn't get there early.

I was talking about the media day early in the morning, not the preview night. Just read my signature, I'm planning to go to preview night.

Please, this is an argument?

I doubt we should expect an all-day wait, or any kind of crush at the gate for a season pass-holder preview. And if there is a line to get in it won't go any faster or slower than any other day, which in my experience is pretty speedy. And once you get in the park you'll likely find that it's the same as any other exclusive event for pass holders. Pretty darned slow, with plenty of rides for everyone. And those that leaned against a fence for hours might feel foolish.

So, if you need to, show up early, hang out and soak up all that is Cedar Point from outside the park somewhere. Be first in line, so you can get a maximum number of rides in that three hours. But that seems to me something that someone who is looking forward to their first visit might do.

This seems like a conversation for the day of, if anything. Not so many days out. Anyone know what the weather is supposed to be?

I don't see this event being that crowded. Everything will probably be near walk-on. You'll likely wait 10 minutes at most for rides.
