I want to get stuck during a fireworks display :) That would be unforgettable. That would be awesome. Unless you were stuck facing the lake. Then that would just be pure bad luck altogether.
If you don't have bad neck problems, then it's easy, or just hold up a mirror and watch the reflection :)

I mean this year, not 2011. KI WindSeeker opened late this year.
I think you just confused yourself along with everyone else here.Cedar Point's Windseeker was scheduled to open on opening day of 2011. However, it didn't open that day. It was not opened until the middle of June, 2011.
Ahh, nope it didn't it opened late as with all the rest of them.

Windseeker opens June 15th.
Cedar point has the entire off season to inspect the ride anyway, I just hope this problem with all the rides doesn't lead to the park somehow giving up on trying to deal with it, and just remove the ride. Kind of like Vertigo, and the park decided to remove it after just one season of being there. They never built another one, (obviously) and probably won't build a new one. (they would have by now)

Well if they did remove it I know where the rumored observation tower is going :)
They removed it during the offseason 2001-2002. I belive (and may be wrong) that the new SkyScraper (did I spell that right?) is in it's old spot.

No, you're correct. Skyscraper is in the old spot of Vertigo. I also hope Windseeker reopens. What a bummer if we permanently had to lose 2 observation towers in 1 year. Also I noticed theres alot of great spots for aerial views (specifically camera picture taking) in the front of the park (Giant wheel, Sky ride, windseeker, etc. but there's absolutely nothing in the back of the park. I wonder if anything will ever go back in Frontier Town for "aerial viewing"?
CPfan, the only ride at the park that allows on ride photography is the Train.
