Who Should Design Geauga Lake's Hyper?

Where did this talk of G.L.'s hyper even come from, if I may ask?

-M.

Spending time at Applebees after Closing Day with Steph, Scotty, Jason, Ralph, Ben, Betsy, Tony, Brandon, and Tami: PRICELESS

It comes around every off season, cause for some reason every off season we're getting a hyper.

However, I would perfer a B&M personally.

I'll go with B&M also, because it would bring everyone in the world to ride it, because B&M hasn't built a new hyper in a whyle. It's just what Geauga Lake needs.

Earlier I stated I would like an Intamin Design. But Now, after taking a look at Hydra and Silver Bullet, I feel that Cedar Fair Could have b&M do some thing CRAZY with their Speed coaster Designs. I'm looking foward to the 2005 Season. It's gonna be fun!

I really don't know about a B&M...

CF's big thing is height. B&M isn't so huge on that. If GL can get around those height restrictions, I'd expect a 300 footer.

What Geauga Lake hyper? ;)

No, the hyper is next year's announcement. Didn't you get the memo? ;)

I have a question about hyper coasters and S&S. Since they bought out arrow, are they still in the market to build anything that arrow used to? I've heard that they still produce parts for the Arrow coasters out there, but why do they not use any Arrow designs? Or, what about an S&S hypercoaster that is launched?

They'll build whatever you ask them to, I'm sure. The problem is that I don't think they can be competitive on price and there is frankly a lot of established, proven product available from other companies. Besides, how many parks still need a hyper?

I never thought of that Jeff. I was just thinking that since Arrow was the first. I'm guessing Geauga Lake is probably the only one that needs a hyper.

I say Vekoma!!!

I think B&M or Intamin should Design it. They both have ups and downs. Intamin and B&M both give a great ride but Intamin Needs to fix the restraint issue and B&M makes a loud coaster. Other than that both designers make great coasters.

Wow, can't believe I let this one slide by.

Intamin HAS fixed teh restraint issue. Check out the changes that were made to Dragster's trains in comparison to what was running on the Superman rides before Six Flags modified them.

(The changes Six Flags made work as well, and I and my girlfriend found them not-too-uncomfortable, but Dragster's changes are better. Especially since we'd be talking about new trains, not refits)

I am hoping for a B&M hyper twister like Raging Bull, but I'll be happy with a Morgan but only if they make trains like Phantom's Revenge. I know that they were just remodled Arrow trains but they are awesome.

As for Michigan's Adventure getting its hyper, all I can say is that I see Michigan's Adventure getting a hyper or an other type of major coaster before Geauga Lake gets another coaster.

Or how about for Geauga Lake we go in a totally different direction and get an Intamin hyper-woodie, just as long as they don't go with RCCA. Or how about a GCI hyper, just think about it. *** Edited 2/16/2005 5:06:42 AM UTC by MichiganRollerCoast***
