That's a lot of Mean Streak rides! He must have a great Chiropractor!
Surprised no one complains about certain regulars that get the privilege of re-rides, or cuts through the Fast Lane without wristbands! ;)

I actually have heard people on the Mean Streak platform complain when they let Mean Streak Henry reride. Granted, he gets in a seat if the queue line for that seat is empty, but that is not available to the general public and favoritism is never a good think.

^ Yup! And when you ask to do it after you get back to the station, you are told that you have to walk around even though there are empty seats! Slap!
I have never understood the issue of not allowing re-rides if there are empty seats going out.

If we have a platform that has people I generally would discourage it so I don't get a (well he/she did it). However, if empty or not really moving people, I'd send a train with rerides and just spin the turnstyle to account for those riders.
The only time I won't allow rerides ever was after 10:07 when lines were closed closed, at that point it's gtfo and let me go home :D

Perhaps Henry has Alzheimer's and he thinks MS is a new ride every time. It would explain a lot!
I personally am looking forward to having Alzheimer's as well - a new wife every night!

Yup, I've had rerides (stay on the train) on Magnum and Maverick when the platform was empty or almost empty and no one was waiting for my row. Lots of fun and fair because it's available to all.
What Mean Streak Henry likes to do is exit the train and hang out on the platform by the exit gate while people are leaving. Then, after the new riders have boarded, if he sees an empty seat he takes it. He has even waited by the exit for a train or two until an empty seat is available. This is not at the end of the day, usually in the middle of the afternoon or earlier. That is most certainly favoritism because if I would do it I would most certainly be told I can't get back on and to go around.
Added: OK, so I just rode Mean Streak and Mean Streak Henry and friend just got a front seat reride with four guests waiting in the front seat queue. Now they are making guests wait longer so he can ride. I don't get it.

When I was there yesterday there was some sign on the window about 10,000 rides since and some date but I wasn't thinking to go look at it closer before I left when we got back to the station. Anybody know what that's about, is it something to do with Henry? I just thought of it now, was distracted before because we actually had to wait for half an hour and then before we could get on someone tossed their cookies fron the gold train so we had to wait longer for cleanup.

I call bull**** on your claim! I rode with Henry 32 times today (Well actually yesterday). I have a feeling that you are talking about us. We did get re-rides as the nights went on, (5 in a row in the front row) but that was only because no one was in line for it... And knowing Henry personally, HE MAKES SURE HE DOESN'T HOLD OTHER PEOPLE UP IN LINE! So get your damn facts straight before making assumptions... Also, to the members who think it is funny to make jokes about people with mental disabilities, it isn't funny or mature. But after viewing some of this site, that seems to be a theme around here!
There isn't that much demand for Mean Streak so I wouldn't split hairs over it.
But White Water Landing, do you mind me asking what is Henry's attraction to Mean Streak? There are many here that don't find any redeeming qualities to it and I am genuinely curious.
I did ride it again Wednesday late afternoon/evening, car 1 row 2 and it was faster in parts than the last time, so they must have eased up on some of the trim breaks in places, not on the first hill, of course. It had a couple of rough spots that weren't there last time, but I kept myself leaning forward so no pain. It's actually kind of comical going over that first hill, you start to go down a little then, stop!stop! I'm not familiar with any other coasters that actually break going down the first hill.

Funny you should ask that! Henry and I were just talking about that today... He likes it for two major reasons. First being the length of it, and the 2nd being the fact that we don't have a quality wooden coaster. However he did like the second to back row on Blue Streak a few days ago, so maybe we'll see something there. But I can probably guarantee you, that if there was a better alternative, like a GG, GCI, or RMC coaster, he'd ride that.

No I call bull**** on your statement. You were in the green train, front seat. I watched you guys come in and remain in your seats. I was on the same train as it left the station, second to last seat. There were 4 people in the queue line for the front seat as the train was leaving. This was apparently your last ride of the night as you got up and left after that ride.
Mean Streak was only running two trains, most every queue line had at least someone waiting for a train when I entered the station. Do you really think that it is believable that you can take five laps in a row and there is no one waiting for the front, which is arguably the most popular seat on the ride? Total BS, I know what I saw.
In any case, when rerides were offered to the general public on other rides like Magnum and Maverick, the guy doing the spiel always made an announcement informing everyone of that. No such announcement was made on Mean Streak, and it would have been inappropriate anyway since, like I said, people were in almost every queue. I can't believe upper management in park operations would approve of this, you must have a little click going on with some of the ride operators who do you favors because they can apparently get away with it.

Clearly you have some sort of grudge against him... Because you obviously have no clue what you are talking about... There was no one in the front row at that time... It wasn't our final ride of the night, because we stayed till 10:00. You can do 5 front rows at one time on Mean Streak, have you ever seen Mean Streak at 9:45 at night. The only reason we had to move on the 6th ride was because Single Rider Kenny showed up, and wanted the front. So please don't say we have some sort of deal, or clique with the ride operators, when you don't have legitimate proof... Because making accusations without any real grounds is typically frowned upon. You can say I am lying, and I can say your lying, because we both can't prove our points without some sort of proof.
No grudge against Henry, he is a nice guy and just does what they let them do. So, technically, he does nothing wrong. BUT, he is not sneaking behind someone's back, so clearly the ride operators are giving him favoritism and perks other people are not getting. That is why I find it very difficult to believe upper management would approve and that some type of arrangement exists between the Mean Streak crew that goes against normal operating procedure. Anyway, 10,000 rides would be a lot more meaningful if he went around each time like he is supposed to.
When I saw you guys re-ride in the front seat, it was some where between 8:30 and 9:00pm. It was exactly as I described it. As I was walking down the exit ramp, I overheard one of the ride ops say to Henry "so you're leaving", that's why I thought it was your last ride, I didn't wait to actually see you guys leave. You're right, I have no proof, but I know what I saw.

It does seem incredibly unlikely that the front row would be devoid of waiting guests for 5 consecutive rides. That's certainly not something I've seen on any ride, ever.

If you're going to join the site just to take on someone who has been here for 14 years, you're not going to last very long. Pete doesn't have a grudge toward anyone, but like me, he's largely intolerant enthusiasshattery.
Watch your step, man.

I would have to agree with this, especially for Mean Streak, where the further back you go, the bigger the potential for pain. So yeah, if there is people waiting for the front, then off you go.
Thanks for answering, White Water Landing. I think Blue Streak is a lot more fun.
