330am?? If I could only get to sleep then.. Another question for you employees - Does CP allow small pets in your dorm/apartment? I have a snake that I cant live without.

I don't think your roomates would appreciate animals running around at night while they were sleeping. As for places to live. If your into the bar thing go off point to save on the over priced taxis. Gotta be careful on who you get a ride from after leaving Louies. There are some crazy people in this world.
How do we go about having guests in our room? Do we have to check them in or something, or can they just walk in with us? And do we have to bring them in by a specific time??? Sorry for all of the questions, I am just a bit nervous and not quite sure exactly what to expect...
They make you sign some paper thing when you have a guest over. You sign it as well. Then they need to sign out when they leave. Before you go into your dorm room they slide your id card through to make sure you are a current resident. I can't fully remember how it works because I rarely spent much time with guests in my room. There's not much to do in them anyways considering all the strict policys they enforce.
What types of strict policies do they enforce??? And are they the same for both the dorms on and off point as well as the apartments??? Thanks :-)
Visitors who are not employees are allowed in your room until midnight. They must sign in with a picture id (as proof of age - the visitor has to be 18 or over or accompanied by an adult). You have to leave your id with the security desk as long as that non-employee guest is in your room. Employee guests from other buildings (say, you live in Gold and your visitor is from Commons) are allowed at any time as long as you sign them in and out. Guests from the same building, well, that's pretty self explainatory. Another policy I can think of that is strictly enforced is that you can't have more than a six pack of beer in your dorm/apartment. Beer only too - nothing else is allowed. Of course, you must be of legal age (your id will show housing whether you're 21 or not). I'm sure that all policies apply to all housing units.

Hey Sad Smiles! I read your post and noticed that you mentioned that you went to MSU. . .do you mean Michigan State? If that's the case, I'm a fellow Spartan. . .so go State! Anyways, I worked at Cedar Point for 3 summers and it was the best time of my life! But, it's time for me to move on. . .however, I may make an appearance this summer and help out for a couple of weekends! :) Don't be nervous about this summer though. . . you're gonna have a great time! I personally recommend living off point in Commons Apts. Granted, there's alot of people living in such a small place, but you're not there half the time, so it doesn't really matter. And often times, your roommates turn out to be your best friends. And if you're worried about not having a car, don't worry. It's so easy to get a ride with roommates or fellow crew mates. I lived off point every summer I worked there, and I never had a problem getting rides on point (during the summer I didn't have a car) Also, a little pointer. . .did you mention that you were working on MF this summer? If that's the case, you're Assistant Zone Supervisor is a fellow Spartan as well! :)
Both years I worked at CP I stayed in Cedars. I had fun there. IF you are lucky enough to get an R.A. job. There are rooms in Cedars with your own bathroom. Also, if you do decide to stay there. try and get F-Wing. I stayed there my second year, and there is a private bathroom w/ a shower. About the only people that use it are the ones in that wing. And you'll eventually learn when the best time to get down there is.
I was wondering what "regulated visitation" meant. So, let me get this straight, if some of my friends come up from home to the park and want to hang out with me after my shift, they have to be 18 or over and be out of there by midnight? I'm asking b/c I have friends who want to come up and visit this summer, but they're only 17. So, they wouldn't be aloud to visit me?

I may work here, but I still think "Altitude with Attitude" beats anything that "Rules the sky".
Beast, unfortunately your friends have to be 18 to get into housing and non employees have to be out of housing by midnight.... BUT there are a few places you can take your friends after hours to hang out like Steak n Shake or something.... Maybe you can get your team leader to schedule you an 0-6 shift that day or give you the day off, then you can hang with your friends in the park - I've done that many times before. You wouldn't want your poor friends to have to hang out in CP housing anyway!! :)
