Ok, to be honest, I didn't read the whole tread, but...
STOP calling it "concept art". If you know anything about the coaster world, most of the new 3D models done for parks is done by Keith McVeen at 3Dvip.com
If any of you have seen this picture, it is way to plainfully clear it is the work of Keith. THUS, it isn't concept art, it is "what it WILL be" art. No concept involved.

I keep reading the topic title over and over, and just don't understand it. Is the person who posted this topic just a moron?
I have said this before and it is a great quote

The whole concept of no ride being 107ft or below with a 90+ degree drop is pure hog wash. Down here in Texas, I submit to you Runaway Mountain at SFOT. It has a 51 foot lift followed by a very mild layout. In the latter half of the ride, it has a 90 degree drop with a 180 degree twist of which I can only guess is less than 35 feet. Beleive me i am not perilized.

I actually read on another site that CP is going to redesign the ride now because of this leak. :sigh:
Just a sigh.
I hit my head a few times on the table.

Actually, the electrical building is in plain view, near the second support of the lift hill's incline.

Or "Illegal Art"?

What would make you think its "illegal"? As I'm sure we will all see it is a legitimate concept art provided to Screamscape. Screamscape is in the business of providing news, and yes even rumors, about theme parks. This 'news" was provided to Screamscape and they felt it was legitimate so they used it. Plain and simple.
It was an unauthorized leak. The site decided they wanted to play by a different set of rules than everyone else. That's unfortunate, but it says a lot about where their priorities are. They'd rather have their 15 minutes of fame than respect the industry they cover. Plain and simple.
Yeah thats scremscape for ya. But still, even with this artwork, I'm still confused about what the ride exactly will be.
Sure we know the layout, but what else do we know? About those small trains? The drop? It still doesn't clear up things for me so I'm still waiting for Thursday.
I want to know what it does. And only CP can answer that one. That picture just isn't answering my questions.
So it is that thing?

First of all, where did they get this "concept artwork"? A few months ago some took a picture of concept artwork for a new waterslide that Dorney wants to put in. They put the picture on a popular Dorney website and people were talking about it like crazy. A few days later Dorney found out about the concept artwork being on the web and they made all websites who talked about the artwork to take it down and to stop off threads about it.
if this really is the true concept artwork of project 2007, i think Cedar Point would of found out about it and have done the same thing Dorney did.
Second, I just don't believe it. Things just aren't pitting into place. for example, after the drop, it would go right into the very first turn that was constucted. that turn is too horizontal to be coming out of the first drop, even if it is a 95ยบ drop.
p.s. i anyone was wondering, i DID NOT take that dorney pic, but i did save the pic when it was online. i'm not putting it up on the web, so if you wanna see it, e-mail me - mittmitt@hotmail.com

They can't make Pointbuzz do anything. They might of asked the Dorney sites to take the threads off. But it is so close to the anouncment date, I doubt they even care if we are talking about it.
It is real, move on.

I wish you hadn't said that, Walt. Better to let the whole thing lay in ambiguity than to give it indirect credence like that. No offense.
Personally, I haven't visited this screamscope whatever site, and I have no plans to do so. I didn't ask about the sex of my child before it was born, and because of that I got to experience the news at the birth, with no expectations or preconceptions. If this alleged art is truly representative of project 2007, then all you cheating types will have a nice, anticlimactic letdown. I, on the other hand, will be reveling in the joy of the moment. ;)

Totally agree.
So is this not going to break any records?
Although the ride does look fun its not much to look at to say the least. Guess we will wait till opening day ;)
