yea, I agree the TL's will have there hands full but I'm sure there are going to be people doing it for just a paycheck but then some will truly understand what its about and see of it more as a lifestyle than a job. I would be curious how many people from last year would do it for free, I'm willing to say a good number would.
Getting back on topic I would like to see more people coming to the pre show. In case anyone doesn't know, last year we would meet on the maid midway at the fountain and we would have a little pre show. some nights we had the crowd get into it more than others. It definitely is a huge motivation when the crowd is really pumped and excited. because no matter what anyone thinks it is very hard work and it definitely gives a super boost when we hear the crowds into it.

That's because everyone was at Terror Island watching MY pregame warm up. Sorry, the Island just does things better.

Ralph Wiggum said:I'd much rather have 75 hard working, dedicated Screamsters and have each zone be short staffed than to have 300 Screamsters who are only there to collect a paycheck and have no real interest in the job.
It wouldn't matter because people would still bitch and moan that the zones sucked.

Actually, I did have to, if you would've saw the lines we had on Saturdays, we needed crowd control out there, when you have a line filling the boathouse stretching out to Dagster's billboard, it needed to be.

But nobody was making you do it, you did it because it needed to be done. Hopefully sometime this year I'll get things settled in the makeup shop early enough to come out and join you in the preshow for a night.

I really have to say you guys do a great job with the make-up. I didnt get a chance to see terror island last year and I wanted to but my kids are to young. I know you don't want to hear this but I hope that CarnEvil is moved or gone because my kids love Camp Snoopy and we had to leave the area for the CarnEvil. That is one area I was really upset about being taken away from the kids at night. I know everyone says there is Kiddiekindom and Planet Snoopy but for some reason my kids are stuck the Tilt-A-Whirl and WoodStock Express.
Again though at what I was saying at the begining. I think you screamsters do a great job at the way you act out the character. I also think that a Crows nest would be a great idea. Keep up the scares and look forward to the start of another great season.
Thanks, the makeup artists are amazing they really are and almost all of the monsters have such a high respect for the artist. Without them none of this would be possible and there some of the nicest and hardworking people you could ever meet. I also understand what you mean about camp snoopy but even during halloweekends cedar point is still considered a family park. A lot of other parks such as Knotts berry farm and Kings Island just have the entire park or a great majority of it packed with monsters so there is no real safe place to hide.

I would like to see a major show..a non magic act show. For those who haven't been to 6 flags Great America ,they have such a show during Frightfest.
I think that the shows that they have are pretty sufficient... between the rides, the zones, the houses, and the couple shows I make sure to hit every time (Trio of Terror, Monsters Rock @ Red Garter) it's usually a pretty full weekend. What is the show @ 6 Flags like/how is it different from what is currently offered?
^ Thats what I was wondering too. I think CP is doing a great job providing shows and entertainment during Halloweekends. Maybe for more excitement they'll start cutting off heads and squirting blood on the guests!!! ;)

I thought of something that should go. At the end of Cornstalkers they chase you out with "chainsaws". This ruined the whole experience for me. They didn't really make any chainsaw like noise and looked really really fake. I know, unlike local haunts, CP can't have real chainsaws, so please just get rid of them and come up with something more creative for the big finish.
Let's Get Weird.
CP can market it as a new attraction. Cornstalkers 2 Bizarro

Terror Island did an amazing job I thought, for it's first year, and I don't see it going anywhere for a long time. It could use some improvements, like everything else. I'd like to see some more character among the screamsters. I was sad when we were told we could not have swords, because what's a pirate without a weapon? And the foam ones, I ask why they even exist.
I had thought about bringing a metal flask and acting drunk, since we are not allowed to have glass, which is quite understandable, only I couldn't find a metal one anywhere.
Overall though, it did good and I enjoy the fact people loved it and kept coming back.
