What should come and go for Halloweekends?

I know its a little bit early to be talking about Halloweekends, but its my favorite time of the year! What do you think should come and go for Halloweekends this year?

I hope that two indoor haunts that were not updated last year get an update.

I hope they add on to Club Blood, and the one on Mille's island. Those were already the best and if made larger, it would be sweet.

How would you propose making them larger? Terror Island pretty much uses all the usable land on the island, and Club Blood uses all of that building except for a break room in the back.

I can't wait to see what's new this year. And I hope the rumors are true cause if they are, this year will be better than last....and I thought last year was the best so far.:)

What are the big rumors that you guys are referencing? I haven't heard anything.

You could take club blood outside for a while. Terror Island does not take up the whole area it is in.

besides I didn't really mean larger as in longer, I was talking about more scares and props.

^ Terror Island didnt have as many Screamsters as they would've liked to have had.

Terror Island did use as much of the island as it could, and there was a short on Screamsters on the island but being a new zone and having it a one way zone, it was a little hard to guess on how many would be needed. Now we know and I'm sure there will be more Screamsters there this year, more then likely there will be more Screamsters throughout all the zones too. This year will be better then last, whether things are added or not. One thing I would like to see on the island is using the propane cannon and turn it into an interactive cannon, where it looks like a pirate cannon and can be used in a theatrical manner with a pirate saying they're going to fire and have another on the other side yell incoming and have it go off. Gives part show, and still gets the scares from the noise.

The creepiest was when I went through Terror Island just before closing. We wanted to hit it before hitting Magnum at close, and it was EMPTY, but with seemingly more fog. It was worth going through it again just to have a really good scare. The only problem was that the mermaid wasn't there.....she had gotten up and hidden behind us and got us good.

I really liked that zone, it was really well done.

What do you think should come and go for Halloweekends this year?

I'd like to see the crows go away. Nearly impossible to navigate CP and enjoy yourself with that many people in the park.

I hate the crows too. With their 'cawing' and flying above I too have a tough time enjoying myself.

The only thing I hate more than the crows are the crowds.

Interesting... Speaking of things going for next year I got my Cedar Points Resorts brochure in the mail today, and for Halloweekends it advertises "in your face scares in 7 terrifying attractions".

By my count they had 8 haunted attractions last year (Fright Zone, CarnEvil, Fear Faire, Terror Island, Cornstalkers, Club Blood, Undertaker U, and Pharoah's Secret).

I wonder which one is history? My guess if Pharoah's Secret.

Or Undertaker U, seeing as its right by the construction that is going on and just as old as Pharoah's Secret. Or Carnevil, to allow more scareactors to be placed in Terror Island.

I also believe that there will be more screamsters this year especially with the economy. I really did like terror island this year as an addition. Next year it will have a veteran crew and Im sure it will do great. Carnevil was also pretty good this year with its new location. Fright zone was again good as always. Fear Faire was ..... I would like to see more people come out and be screamsters next year. But then again I would also like to see those people actually care about what there doing too and not just look for a paycheck.

Zeek I like your idea with the cannon, I even heard it scared people in fright zone last year.
