What should come and go for Halloweekends?

All I know is the Garter isn't the same without a live band, singers are great, but you lose the creative fun and energy of live music. It's not the same and it won't be. Makes me sad.

What we also need is to bring back Arron Radtz. He was a great magican and his opening act was amazing.

I did always prefer Aaron's show to the Chris Lynn show, although they're both good. I didn't get a chance to check out Trio of Terror last year in it's new location, but that has always been my favorite Halloweekends show.

Trio of Terror is great... I wasn't really a fan of the new location. The Glass Blowing theather was dark and seemed kind of grim..... also the close quarters gave a claustrophobic feel that I think lent itself to the performances. The new digs at the Palace are slick with a nicer stage and lighting and whatnot, and I think that detracts a bit. Also, I was towards the back of the theater, and staff from the Chuck Wagon kept coming in and out which was somewhat distracting.

Well let see if I can bring this post back to life. What do we think the new attractions will be this year?

Trio of Terror, as of today, is done. Gone. Completely over.

No more Poe in the park.

Looks like there will be something new for Halloweekends. Anybody been to the park to see where this is/what it might be?

^ - Its most likely a hotel themed haunted house. I believe it was spotted near the old office building.

Yeah supposedly if you walk passed the old offices after dark you can hear thunder and see strobe lights flashing inside the building. Hence the comment at the end of the blog post, "I saw the lightning and heard the thunder....wasn't sure what was going on! Can't wait!"
Sounds pretty cool to me.

I wonder if this means farewell to one of the other haunts, or if this new attraction will just be an addition?

the only house that went away got replaced by something new so with the finance building house there will be one more then there was last season.

So much you don't know about me Josh. Someday, when I return to Ohio, I will take you to the farm I have near Columbus.

hehe maybe I did hear that? Either way hope you'll be back for at least a weekend like you said. I thought Bucyrus was a nice addition last year.

What do we think will be in the disater transport this year? All This year they had the main entrance blocked off. So they must be buliding something.

we know whats in there but I'll leave that up to 99er since I'm not sure the park has officially said yet... not that he works there anymore either.

construction hasn't been going on in there all summer but it did get started pretty early on and it is something completely new for cedar point. personally I'm excited to see it finished. Especially since it was about time for a change to pharoah's.

So that means Pharoah's will not be back?

Bucyrus was NOT a welcome edition last year..
