I'm with Jesz and the rail road tracks. There's a perfect set just before my street. If I hit it at 70kph I get perfect airtime. I also rode the ferris wheel at Navy Pier when I was in Chicago a few days ago. Not exactly a roller coaster ride, but still a key amusement park feature.

While on a lift I heard a lady say I could never ride rollercoasters. Meanwhile she is just sitting on a chair 20-30 feet above ground with no restraints holding her in.
Skiing is like rollerblading but with bigger "rollerblades".
I notice people tend to use winter as an excuse to gain weight, or sit around the house more often. But I look at it as a reason to get out of the house more. Winter goes by in no time if you have a hobby like skiing.
I'll never forget, my brother in 1995. His Spanking brand new Pontiac Grand Prix.... There were some railroad tracks that had a steep hill just before them, right up the road. He went back and forth trying to gain enough speed to JUMP them. Finally he did it....WEEEEeeeee....but wait....what's that noise?
Oh shut up.
My sister was ejected from her seat and into the ceiling of the car. "OUCH" she screamed.
Oh shut up, it was awesome! Geeeez. YOU ruined it!!!

I did a tandem jump last year. In fact it was one year ago today. Wierd. Anyway it was fun but a very different thrill. My friend and I also drove to Sandusky yesterday just because. We looked at the skyline, ate at Dianna's, and went to that big souvenir t-shirt store where I bought a couple of shot glasses. Once getting to Sandusky I realized how depressing it actually was to be in Sandusky and not able to go to CP. Probably won't ever do that again.

Vince, what was your jump altitude? All my solo student jumps were from 4500', but I understand most tandems jump from around 9500'.
You should have gone to the Merry-go-round museum while you were in town:

Never mind. I just checked their hours, and they're only open on weekends in January - February.
