Tony, you're killing me with shutting off the webcam at 6! I know that was good when it was winter, because it was dark by then, but can we push it back to 7 for now, and 8 when we switch to daylight savings this weekend, or is that not possible? At least until the season start? Please! :) I wanna see my boys set up that awesome new ride!
Is any work even being done past 6? It's not like they have a 24-hour crew on this or anything.
The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.
Unfortunately, I don't have the full-res version for distribution.
I'll also adjust the cams tomorrow so that they broadcast longer, in celebration of getting more daylight starting on Sunday!

Don't forget to take into consideration the 1.26 microseconds we lost due to the Chilean earthquake. :D

@Break_Trims: I know there is no 24-hour work crew, but I'm pretty sure the crews have been working later and later each day. They used to shut down at 5, but at 6 today when the cams shut down work was being done on the second drop. Plus, I love watching the sun set on the Dragster Cam. :)
Thanks Tony!

Tony, any chance that you have the hi-res version of the image?
Here ya go, John.

Wow, what a catch. I especially like Blue Streak's cupola just barely popping through. It's pretty amazing that this shot was taken with a static webcam, with no special adjustments made for these circumstances.

Delicious.

@99er: Yep! :) No, probably not, seeing as I'm not even old enough to vote yet (only one more year!). Its actually a slang term that the "kids" are using now-a-days to refer to people that they are friends with, know, or appreciate. The latter would be correct for me. No hard feelings pops? ;)
Brandon, great catch. Image is wonderful. Thanks!
Don't thank me, thank Get To The Point. If not for his or her posted image, I'd never have checked, and wouldn't have known when to check for a repeat performance.

Hate to break it to you, but that term meaning what it does has been around probably longer than you have. I was well aware though of what it meant, I just thought it sounded a little weird. Maybe that's the "old" side of me coming out, seeing as how I am only 26. But no hard feelings indeed;)

I don't think that's fog.
More than likely a bright western sun shining off low-lying clouds.
Goodbye MrScott
John
At the time i posted the webcam was showing a very low cloud deck. Where only Power Tower could be seen. I think they may have been low flying stratus clouds mixed in with some fog off the lake.
-Edit- Tony's latest OnPoint shows a pic of the webcam from when I posted.

Yea, you're probably right, seeing as I wouldn't really know how long it has been around. Yea, it sounded a little wierd, but everything sounds wierd when you listen to it from a computer! ;) Glad there's no hard feelings, hopefully I'll see you up at the Point sometime. :)
Oh, and back on topic, I did see the clouds rolling in by WT this morning, but it seems they've all since clearned out.
