John Carle- Not trying to get picky but I believe it is called a continuous circuit coaster. Out-and-back is a type of continuous circuit, along with a cyclone and many others. As for the white tent, it is most definitely for the hydraulic launch mech. house. It's probably used for the foundation. As most know, Xcelerator's hydraulic house was actually dug into the ground to create a hefty enough foundation for that monster hydraulic turbine mechanism pulling thing (for lack of better words) which by the way pulls 9,000horsepower.

Forgot to mention what the tent is used for. with such a hefty foundation, if you get too much snow, ice, rain, or any other of mother nature's creations, it's most likely it would screw up the concrete foundation mixture and they would have to rip it out and re-pour the slab. This is due to- if the snow or water gets trapped in the concrete, it would melt and cause great weakness in the slab because it would not be solid, but have pockets of water and air.

By the way, Does anyone know why they keep the Power Tower gift shop light on?? I believe its called the Power Station but im not sure.

They seem to be doing some work today on a sunday? well I can see that they have started to put up the kicker wheels along the turns and they have a big front end loader moving around I think he is moving things around or maybe they are getting ready for the annoncment.

The Elevator "line going up the tower" seems to have got slighlty higher today too.

Is it over steep to set a record it looks like it on web cam 3

It's real weird that they would be working on a Sunday, wonder if they're maybe making up for some lost time??

They also say it will be 120 mph.

The area around it looks so plain. Do you think they will actually plant trees or just seeds? I hope they plant trees (althought it is more expensive), it just would look to weird without any.

I'm sure they will. MF looked the same way when it was being built, and look at how it is now. You can bet on trees, flags, a sign, photo building, etc...

I believe they are CLOSE to being accurate this time.... at least they waited til it was built, lol

Regarding questions about the "white tent" - my theory is that they deliberately did not raize the power hut for Chaos (http://www.itsjustabuck.com/pics/2003/DSC00226.JPG) because they intend to use it to power #16. The white tent is just about where the Chaos power hut used to be.

Did they do anything today that was visable??

They definetly had to add some more power cables, hence the slice through breakers' parking lot and the hole in the beach. I think that if they are using that electrical "outlet" it will be supped up alot.

Why are the cranes back up??? I thaught they were done with the tower!

probably tents for the workers building some sort of magnetic crap?

That magnetic crap which would be closer to hydrolic crap will be launching you at 100+ mph so show some respect.
