Web Cam Activity and Testing..Oh My!

It looks like they are doing something by the ground web cam and a big truck pulled up on the power tower cam so it looks like they have more track coming in. You can look at all the web cams here.

judging by the position of the track in the third webcam, it appears as though it is going past vertical at this stage. They may be constructing the twist, although it is curious because it seems too early after the raise to vertical for the twist, unless the track twists more than just 90 degrees. maybe it actually twists 450 degrees, all the way around then 90?

do u guys think that web cam goes out so they can do secret stuff? or is it just a piece of crap and goes out at only day time????????? think about it maybe theres more to this than everyone expects seeing that a l th b wouldnt be so hightly talked about since its small and short. i think they wouldnt be so proud of a 15 sec ride.

but CP was so proud of WT. And Superman was the same thing.

I just saw on the web cam that they put a white piece of track on the truck the piece of track that is white was on the ground siting and they put it on the truck what are they doing?

That webcam has a poor enought resolution that you likely wouldn't notice if they were using an elephant to move the track sections....so no, I highly doubt the camera goes down so they can do anything secret. It is just a pos.

What are they doing with the crains?

Hmmmmm - pieces are starting to disappear. Both a red piece and a white piece have been removed. Is this the beginning of the supposed modifications to something other that L:TH:TW:B? (this ought to stir up a few nests)

Carsten - how can you tell they're reading a newspaper down there?

Where is there a missing piece.

i noticed the missing pieces too but they are where the station is gonna be so they just moved them down

c r - There were five pieces of alternating white and red launch track sitting on the ground just west of the Corkscrew station. Then there were only three, and now it looks like a red one is back. (I also don't think it's anything the "Something other than ..." fanatics should be excited about.)

Aaron - I believe the station is going to be a ways to the left of where the track pieces are sitting. They just may not have them staged in the correct order. In fact, I'm not sure if the station is even in the field of view of the PT webcam.

have any of you noticed the extension on one of the cranes?

Yeah I did notice that and thank you for informing me about the missing pieces. I thought people were saying that they took pieces off the tower.

Some one help me i'm in denial about Project 2003.

It looks like they are just moving them down the line closer to the station. It doesn't look like there are many yellow pieces left on the ground in the Power Tower view...does anyone know if there are more in the lot? I think I see maybe one more catwalk at the bottom of the tower.

Maybe one of the invading infidels who took the "illegal" pictures could clue us in on what is left in the parking lot without the use of pictures and without their posts getting zapped. Kind of like a recon report? Maybe? Please?

We've already been through this in another topic!!!! The track IS NOT going past vertical!!!! Look at this pick of WT:

These twists are vertical, but from different views, it looks as if it could be going past vertical, but it's not!!!!

Is it just me, or did the page names that the main camera web site change where they link to?

In other words, they no longer go to the pages listed at the top of this thread... they're named camera# (# = 1,2,3).
