Web Cam Activity and Testing..Oh My!

That is what I meant. As the track twists, it seems to go past vertical for a bit, because the track is moving around the train as a central pivot point. My point was, since it is APPEARING to go past vertical, the logical explanation would be that the twists are already being started even at this low point in the ride. IF this is the case, is it not possible that there may be more than just a 90 degree twist, maybe even a 450 degree twist before the top hat?

If the rumored name "halfpipe" is true " 450" is a halfpipe trick. and could apply here.

"Half-pipe" is a new type of ride by Intamin, but it's being built in a park in Eurpoe (Finland, I think).

Whoever coined this cryptic acronym abbreviation crap for this ride should be shot. It is extremely annoying. I wished it would've have stopped the minute it started several months ago. Who cares, what is the point? It is going to be a ride that we will all go on no matter what it does.

There is no way that those cranes are going to be able to reach past this latest level. Will we see new additions to the exsisting cranes or will there be new cranes?

i'm pretty sure they will add the extensions when they can't reach any further. that's what they did before they finished level 6.

The two front columns are starting to bend in toward the middle now. They might be able to get the last catwalk up if they move the cranes closer to the tower. It's gonna be tight. I have my doubts, though. One of the cranes had a boom on it about 6 weeks ago that was 75'-100' longer than the current ones. It may have just been a section they can add or take out. They're going to have to modify them soon.

The launch side is vertical, the twist side is twisting (for those of you who can't tell or asked.) This is as of 3:50 on 11-21-02

jdubya, you're the one who said that all three points are going to connect to that multi-support connector piece right? Kay, well the reason I ask, is that the way the angle is at right now, if the three supports would meet, the tower would need another 4 sections to the tower, I just extended the supports in paint shop. Are the supports angled into the middle of the tower or are they angled straight into the middle of the front of the tower. You can see it great on demon drop cam. I just wasn't sure if the two new ones were heading towards eachother or into the middle with the other angled support.

You will also notice from the Power Tower and ground level cams that there are 5 or 6 red/white alternating launch/station track pieces up next to the transfer track. And no, I'm not talking about the launch track that has lying on the ground for the last couple weeks.
