D/\MN GINA!!!!!!!!

Did anyone else see that big spider climbing up the tower at about 3 this afternoon? That sucker was HUGE! I have no way to post it. Can I send it to someone who can?

Well it looks like the track is curving in. So my guess is the track is going to go no high then the supports, and if it goes higher just by a little. Right now would be a good time to know for sure how tall the supports are.
I was looking at the "weird piece" earlier, and I'm not certain as to if there is a connector on top of it, however, there is a connector on the side. I was think that they would add another smaller piece to that and have that connect that to the track because the track doesn't actually go straight over the tower, but in front of it because of the 90/270 degree twists. Looking at the Breakers Cam, I believe it appears to be this way.

Launch: Tophat: Twistage: Brakes...

...Denial is an ugly thing.

Is it just me or does it seem to be curving in AND twisting all at the same time? This could be really interesting!

It is because of the heartline rolls. It will look like this. Pretty cool if you ask me!
It looks like there is a little support extending from the front of the tower for the tophat. But, will there be a support attached to that? We all know the bottom of the tophat will be attached to something, but if it's attached to the extended piece alone, the tophat won't be very curved.

Track work continues early this morning. Looks like we might have a completed tophat today! :)

I know it's hard to see on the web cams. But can anyone see well enough to tell how much the twist is on the down side?

Is it doing a full twist before entering the top hat? Or is it just doing a 90 degree twist like Xcellerator?

The support on the side of the top flangy doohicky is why there is the jutting piece on the top now. The track will attack to that (most likely) and the stairs will connect to the other.

Why they have stairs to go up that high I have no idea. Who the heck is going to want to climb that.

Red Garter Rob will.

There's no way that I am going to be up that high .... unless I am in an Intimin train.

Can't wait any longer!!!! I've been gluet to the web cams for the last 2 weeks....i need to get a life. Are there any new pictures from outside the park yet? The last pics I saw were from the 10th before the tower was finished.
The long awaited "Topping Out" should be done before the sun sets today. Now all we do is wait for the compete stats, but do we even need them??
Will they top it off with a flag or with a Christmas tree with a long extension cord?
Maybe both, but it'll be hard to see if the 3rd cam doesn't come back up..
Well, it looks like there's only two or three more sections of track to go until we've got our newest record-breaker's circuit completed.

I was looking a little harder at the Power Tower cam, and just now noticed that huge white 'thing' near the pullup off the launch track. Is that just a contractor's trailer?
