I heard once that there are 288 steps to the top of Magnum's lift hill. It would take 744 pepsi cans stacked on top of each other to equal the height of MF's lift hill.

Disaster Transport isn't a good ride after you have three pieces of Fizolli's (spelling error) great pizza, complete with breadsticks....

If you add all of the lift hills (tower height in WT's case) together, you get 1755.4 ft. Now thats a lot of lifts!

To go along with the post about having 3 coasters being the tallest and fastest coasters in the world at the time of opening, here are other records that Cedar Point coasters had at their time of opening. They had the tallest and fastest inverted coaster in the world with Raptor when it opened, it had the tallest and fastest stand-up coaster with Mantis when it opened, they had the tallest wooden coaster in the world when it opened in Mean Streak, it had the first triple looping coaster with Corkscrew when it opened, and now has the worlds tallest, fastest and only double twisting impulse coaster with WT...

Where do find all this stuff?

Well, last years Discovery Channel did a special on the World's Largest Amusement Park. So those are where some of these interesting facts come from.

There are some of us who have been going to CP for many years (32 in my case). That's where my "robbers" post came from.

The men's room in Camp Snoopy only has two stalls (2 full toliets) and is to my knowledge the only air conditioned restroom in the park.... (I can't speak for the women's room for obvious reasons.....:))

You got me Walt. I've only stopped by that one once. (When you have kids it seems that you stop at everyone....:))

Another potty observation: They bathrooms in the park just past the main gate were redone this year and look great. They also closed the bathrooms that were behind the Taffy shop near the HW Toxic Tunnel exit.

The fourth and fifth floors of the Breakers Rotunda are "dorm rooms" for employees, and are not air conditioned.

Over 100 tons of nuts and bolts make up Magnum!

Each tunnel is 618 feet long.

The lift chain is 4 tons and 1,060 feet long.

3,000 cars are parked per hour by the parking attendants.

120 costumes are used for one live performance.
