Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
More of the electrical pipes keep showing up as the week goes on. There were 3 bundles on Tuesday when I was there and now there appear to be at least 5.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Thanks Walt and Doug for those pics!
That turn after the launch looks like fun :)

I didn't realize how much room there was between the construction site and the pond.

I think it would be pretty cool to have a huge dive loop over the pond. It would be fun to watch from off the ride, too.

Doug's the MAN!! Thanks for the update guys. :)I wonder what the visquine is over the tracks??
They were probably pouring concrete on the other side of the track via a long chute or a pumper and did not want to get any slop on the tracks
notice the fresh cement in this photo.

Not a problem hall. It took me a min. to figure it out myself when I was looking at the photos.
I kind of see what you are saying on the "waffle" piece of track with the retractable brake fins halltd, but what I dont understand is why did they put 45s on the ends. I would think they would make it all square to accomadate multiple sets of fins.
For what it's worth, and it's a bit hard to tell, the track comes in and slopes down, becomes flat for a very short distance, and then begins to slope up again:

Hey Doug,
I missed you today, just sent my pics to walt that I took today Aug. 31 and they look the same you beat me to it. Almost the same angles. lol Was really windy today at the park.
Phillip
I ran up to the park after I got out of school, and was only there from about 4 to 6. And yes, incredibly windy today, I'm guessing that's why so little work was done.

It's amazing all the work that has been done lately. I mean it seems like there is an update everyday. Good thing we are like 6 days away from the annoucement. I wasn't at the park today, but in my area, it felt like Fall already.
Yeah, I missed out on TTD today because of that wind :( . I've got some pics of them actually putting that track on, but they're not that exciting.

Can anyone find a piece like this on any other coaster somewhere? Also any ideas on what the protruding mounts under the track are for?

Mechanical Engineer: Dont mess with us, we design your coasters.
I rode on TTD today LOL I sent walt my pics of them puttin the track on Did you ride Wicked twister?? Felt like I was goin to be knocked over. TTD was running until about 3ish I believe.
In that picture that Steve just posted, is there a bolt coming out of the ground next to the traffic cone?
Greg
I think by the time we got over to Dragster it was around 4:30. The wind really got to me on Magnum. I was almost unsure we would get over the scond hill, because the wind really slowed the train down.

Greg - There's a footing right there. Behind the dirt pile. Hence what the electrical conduit is sticking up from.
