A transition from left to right won't cause an increase or decrease in vertical g's, only in lateral g's.

It looks pretty steep from certain angles, but if you're looking at from the side, it looks to be around 40 degrees. I wouldn't call that very steep.
It may not be steep, but any train at speed would give you lots of air time over that hill. Think about those little hills you hit in your car/truck doing about 40ish, the little air time you get there will not match what you would get here!!!
That hill would be super fun around 45-55 mph!!!
Actually, the right graduated drop on the back side of a hill will give better air time than a steep drop. Just look at Wild Thing, the airtime zone on that coaster is just flat out fun.

I was checking out the funcoast cam and it looks as if some type of loop is being erected...
It's kind of hard to tell with the buoy in the way.

Well, yes and no (since ice is water). The original coasters were in Russia. They were iced down toboggan runs that evolved into both bobsled and coasters. People had so much fun on them in winter they eventually wanted to ride when it wasn't cold out.
OMG JuggaLotus you figured it out.
In CP's quest to become a year round resort the whole new direction must be referring to the first modern day outside ice coaster!
I knew they would find a way to get you fanatics there in the winter too. :-P
I was checking out the Funcam and noticed something interesting:

Loop? Corkscrew? Overbanked turn? I personally think its an overbanked turn, but who knows.
