Great update, as I can see from the update not all the footers are done you can still see markers for future footers. Atleast I hope that is what its for anyway.

Is that Kinzel getting interviewed?

No, it's someone from a coaster web site interviewing Bryan from Public Relations.

Ya, I seriously doubt Dick Kinzel would be getting interviewed on the side of the road, but that's just me.

Oops, now that I look at it closer, I guess that guy doesn't have gray hair and is too tall to be Kinzel.

Those markers aren't new. Adam and I mentioned them back in July.

Since they didnt knock down the platform for WWL how will that come into play with Project 2007???

At this point no one knows. Some think it was merely left as a barrier during construction, while others believe it will be involved.

They're all just regular people, doing regular jobs. They're not celebrities, they're public relations. Interviews are what they do best.

I cant wait to see what goes up where all those footers are bunched together.

There is still a marker in the Antique Cars as well. Or at least it was there about a month ago. There is something big we are missing, and I don't think its extra testing time because I don't think they would test it during the winter when its freezing and there is ice/snow buildup on the ride.

Hey, maybe they are taking a new approach to construction to allow for a few weeks of extra testing time, but if they did that I wish they would chage their marketing strategies. I don't understand why they don't announce it mid-summer when they have the largest crowds.

I have a few points for people who think I'm crazy:

1. If the park is a regional park, and isn't competing against parks like SFMM, like everyone says, why would CP care if SFMM copies them? They also have a monopoly on Ohio now, which is who they used to "really" compete against, so now it really doesn't matter who knows what the ride is.

2. Why not announce it July 4th weekend when the larget crowds are in the park? You need people to hear about your product, and if you wait until the dead season, you totally miss the GP who keep the park well-funded. Plus, you have the rest of the summer, which is usually really busy as well, to do simple in-park promotions for the ride that are less costly than TV commercials.

3. If you think I'm wrong and the current marketing situation is working, why does attendance keep dropping. I know the Detroit job market is horrendous right now, but I think announcing the ride midstream through the season is much more beneficial then announcing it when nobody is paying attention.
