Man, look at all that green. Well Adam, I think we can point and laugh now at those pessimistic members back before the season began. (Don't worry guys you don't have to admit it, we know you were wrong ;))
Top Thrill Dragster had a wonderful season due to CP's exceptional maintenance staff and patiences it has with one of the best, yet touchy, rides in the world.
Thank you to the ride ops for doing a great job and lets shoot for the sky (pun intended) for that 1 million mark come 2007, I hope to join you when I start work in June. It would be a dream come true to work TTD, but any other ride would do.
I'm really geeked about how well this season has been.
I may only have 18 rides, compared to Adams 160, but I love the ride just as much.
Here's to another great year. 2007 BABY!! :)
:I swear this will be all the ranting I'll do on this subject for a long time. :):

I'm saying this right now... It would have had 1 million if the park hadn't cut it's hours 5 days out of the week....

"I think we can point and laugh now at those pessimistic members back before the season began."
I said the same thing when I left the park last night.:)
And dont worry about ride count, it's the loyalty that really matters. Though I wish you were there last night at the end. Me, Mark and this lady Mark knows (sorry her name eludes me at the moment) formed a little click of the biggest fans in the whole station and there was some kind of pride I was feeling during our "marathon" and those final moments before my last launch.:)

lol yeah I/we made quite a ruckus (however it's spelled) getting off. Did you here us booing the last train right as it was leaving the station?:)
Oh and I was wearing a grey Dragster sweater with camo gloves(couldnt find my flame gloves:)). I wish I knew you were there, I would have made you take a pic of all of us.:)

No, I didn't hear that...
But, I did see you... I believe I was on Gemini at the time...

Wow, only two full days of downtime this year. I think TTD has finally started to operate "normally" like a CP coaster should. Now if they could just get rid of all the little bits of downtime that happen throughout the day. Although I will say even that was much much better this year.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
See! I wasnt joking when I put on my sig at the beginning of the offseason "2006 will be Dragsters year to shine". :)

And a special thanks to Marc and all the people from the Dragster crew for an amazing year. It was surely a night to remember.See you all next year!! Ride On!!:)
I find it great that you thanked me personally but it was a crew effort all year long!!!!!! I was only there the last 3 months...
Top Thrill Dragster had a great year and I will never forget some of the fun things that I did this year and some of the rides she gave me!!!!

Yes, Dragster definitely had an incredible season. Huge thanks to the awesome ride crew and maintenance staff for all their hard work!!
Looking forward to another great year in 2007.
^^I was mainly shaking you're hand because it was nice meeting you in particular. If I wanted to thank EVERYONE on the crew, I would have shouted it out.:)

Don't call him a hand.
I do have to give some credit to the Dragster crew last weekend though. I didn't ride, but damn were you guys trying to get it up and running. I can't believe people were waiting in line (especially with the way the wind was blowing) but you guys were trying.
I know you did, but it was kinda nice to see that a crew was trying to get stuff going for the guests. Unlike that blue thing with stupid seat-belts across the way that keeps running 3 trains when they can't even efficiently run 2.
Goodbye MrScott
John
On a side note, Dragster had probably the most awesome Ride Prides I've ever met Closing Weekend...

I hate asking this in fear of sounding like an idiot but....."Ride Prides"??
I think I know but I just want to make sure.:)
-Adam G- The OG Dragster nut
Volunteers. They work non-essential (i.e. entrance) positions on rides while earning money for their organization in a fund raising way. Its a cheap way to fill positions during bonus weekends when a lot of workers are back at school and glad to be there.
