And the Red Wings are going to get somewhere in the playoffs.

The Cardinals are just around the corner from going to the World Series! Who would have expected that? I was upset that the game was canceled today. :(

I think Mark will vouch for me and say that last night was incredible. 7 rides in a row for me and last of the night.
And I just have to thank ya again Mark, that marathon was what I was waiting for this whole season.
See you sunday.:)

TTD ran very well all day, but the wait times were long due to the trains only loading the first 10-12 seats due to heavy winds all day. Rain shut the ride down for about 15 minutes early in the day as well. It had a rollback almost every hour because of the heavy cross wind.
I got three rides on it, one in the front.
Read about my close encounter with a rollback here:

Wow what a day! 9 rides alltogether and the second from last train of the season! I like to thank Mark for "marathoning" with me through out the day and that it was a pleasure to be with ya on your 200th ride. And a special thanks to Marc and all the people from the Dragster crew for an amazing year. It was surely a night to remember.
See you all next year!! Ride On!!:)

Thanks Adam! It was great spending the final day of the season with another Dragster fan! This has truly been an amazing season for me. I just moved to Ohio last fall, so this was the first year for me to really enjoy the season pass, and experience Cedar Point to the fullest.
Special thanks to the entire Dragster crew. You've been great this summer. To be able to reach a milestone 200th ride on the last day of the season was a real treat!
Can't wait for another great year in 2007.
Well, it doesn't look so good for the 1 million mark. Sunday morning one of the ops was saying that they were probably going to be 2 or 3 thousand people short.
Was anyone there at the end of the night?

Adam and I were there for the last trains. Unfortunately it didn't make it to the million. I would guess it was more than just 2 or 3 thousand short. As of Friday night it was still over 13000 short, and with the weather on Saturday, there was no way it would make it. It wasn't because she didn't try.
Dragster gave a great run this year, with very little downtime compared to previous years. With the shorter hours this summer, and it not being a Joe Cool ride this year, it just wasn't able to make it to the million rider milestone.
She gave us a bit of a scare around 1:30 on Sunday, went down mechanical. It wasn't looking good, but the awesome maintenance staff got her going again, and running for the rest of the night.
Still, she ran til the very end this year. So that is a major accomplishment!
Thanks again to all of the Dragster crew, maintenance, supervisors who made this Dragsters best season yet!
Didn't help that they only filled 2 rows for the first 1-1/2 hours on Sunday morning. Even at that, there were still rollbacks and trains barely clearing the hill.

The 2007 log is already set and ready. I even made a Maverick operation log(not fully finished)....though it'll be a bit tougher than Dragsters log.
