I was in line from about 11:30 til 1:30 and about 1 o clock or around there they started running 4 trains. I didnt know why but when I rode I noticed the line had been closed and after they cycled everyone through they closed it.

Guys every time the ride moves quit cheering. Every time the ride has been fixed all these people go into a frenzy, and it has had a problem soon afterward. Believe me, I would love this ride to be open because im traveling 7 hours tonight to go to CP. But just a word of advice, give it some time, dont just assume everything will be ok.It's premature right now, if it runs well for 2 weeks: applause are in order for cp and intamin.

I've been out of town for the past couple weeks and I just went to the park for the first time yesterday and I noticed that they added two extra seats where the engine/tires used to be. Wasn't sure where to post this, but I was just wondering how long they've been there.

The status has changed to closed again. Hopefully not for another 2 weeks. But the two seats were added last week to take place of the engine. The spoiler and the tires look like they may come back though.

I didn't look real close, but it sure didn't look like there was enough room for those big tires and a spoiler back there.

I was there today to get my 8th trip on TTD. The line was supposed to be 2 hours. it would have been less then that. but, it did break down 4 times while in line making it about a 3 hour and 44 minute wait.. from the middle of the last maze to my seat in the front. they are doing a great job handling the sudden problems though.. the crew is great. We even got to see another roll back today.. over all.. it seems to be running great when running though.. they had 5 trains today and were launching them just as the last one pulled into breaks.. it was pretty fast going untill suddens problems would occur.. anyway good luck to you all when you get to go again.. be patient if you get in line though.. and you always get to move up when people leave in front of you....

I was there yesterday, and i waited about 2 hrs 15 mins, when the sign said a 2 hr wait. Also, we encountered one 45 min breakdown during this time, so i thought that they did a very nice job of factoring in such a thing (if they did that on purpose) But kudos to the Dragster crew for yesterday.

does anyone know why it was down on the 8th? when we pulled into the park at about 9.15, they gave us a slip of paper saying it was going to be open. we got to the line, and they kept saying the usual, "dragster will open today, but we can not give an estimate on the time..." stuff, then literally 2 seconds after saying that, we heard, "dragster will not open at all today". what could have gone wrong to unexpectedly close it for the entire day like that?

Race For The Sky!

When I left about 4:30 pm Monty and another couple Maintanence guys were looking at were the brake fins are for the sled to stop it when coming back. One of the fins was down inside the track crooked. However I dont know if it was like this or if they put it like that, I wasn't there long enough to see anything.

EDIT: My brother just called me from CP and said that he is by dragster and that one of the brake fins (one that stops the sled when it comes back) was bent up and they were taking it out. I wonder if it collided with the sled somehow and caused it to bend like that? Im not an expert on how that all works down there but maybe someone could help explain this better? Thats all he told me and wasnt that descriptive.

I hope it is up soon too, seeing that I will be there for 2 days next week. Even if it isnt, Im positive I will have fun anyway cause Ive been there before and there are a lot of other coasters to ride :)
