Yeah even if Raptor's control computers were in there, why would they be all the way over there anyway? Makes more sense to be by the station, because the control booth is up in the station.
The controls are below the station.
And I agree it would be cool if a modern company could reproduce classics. Troika is one of my favorites - now if Huss only made a giant Paratrooper...

Is Huss still in buisness?

Troika will survive the construction, :) Unless a steel beam or support falls from cranes and crushes it.
My understanding is that Raptor's controls are below the station, but some of Blue Streak's hardware is in the old Pirate Ride building.

Originally, the Raptor's Allen-Bradley system was in the pirate ride's building. They may have moved it. I know someone that got a behind the scene tour. My dad. Lol. But seriously, they were there. He saw them in person. If they got moved, then they may be under the station. Sorry for wrong info.

Interesting note, I got an email back a couple of days ago from CP's director of planning (after writing in the summer about the need for more flat rides and possibly adding a surfrider coaster across from Wicked Twister) and he said " they are trying to find a way to tie together Kiddy Kingdom and Planet Snoopy but management hasn't decided to pull the trigger just yet". So, look for this area to possibly change in the next few years, getting rid of the 3 point Chaos basketball game. That was a positive sign since Schawbinchen and Chaos used to be in that same area and it could use a few new flat rides with the addition of Gatekeeper.
A flat ride there would be great. It's a perfect spot for one, as was Schwabinchen when it was there. That area will fill up once GK moves in and people will want a smaller ride, but not as intense as Maxair or twister, but more wild than Giant wheel :)

This wouldn't mean the removal of the ballroom would it?

No, if you look at Google Earth you can see that there's room to connect them.

There's room to connect them if you remove the Chaos employee break area. I just wonder what the TL and ATL of Kiddie Kingdom is going to do in the meantime if they remove that break area...
Not go on break? :)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Well as you may or may not know, the TL and ATL of Kiddie Kingdom rove around and collect DORs for each ride and add them up every hour (I believe there are 13 rides in KK). Adding up DORs and recording any feedback during a busy day can take a while. The Chaos break area is the spot where the TL and ATL do their scheduling and DOR work since there aren't control booths as most rides would have, or the luxury of having "the cave" that Planet Snoopy has. So, the Chaos break area really isn't a "break" for the people in charge at Kiddie Kingdom. It's their work space too.
Well with that inside baseball perspective, clearly it's an unworkable problem!

Well I, for one, would rather have the ridership numbers on the park's kiddie rides be accurate than have a brand new park expansion.
Clearly, that will bring 'em in!
