Troika

With Disaster Transport coming down, and being so close to Troika, will Troika close at some point in the next week or so? Also, will it have to be moved to another part of the park again to make way for GateKeeper?

My second favorite flat behind Skyhawk, glad it's staying. It survived TTD, now it will survive Gatekeeper

Good news. It's my favorite flat ride in the park, and I love the location. It's going to get a lot of ridership now next to GateKeeper. Something tells me it will close for a few days as they tear down the last parts of Disaster Transport.

With the end of demolition and beginning of construction coming soon after I wouldn't be surprised to see it closing early for the year depending on the proximity Gatekeeper and any footers that might need to be installed

I would have been sad to see it ago. Glad it stays. No announcement though that they are replacing SS.

It's not in the animation so I think it's safe to say it's gone

Troika is one of my favorite rides, I remember riding it when it used to be where Top Thrill is now. I was thrilled when they found a new home for it over on the Wicked Twister midway. I hope they are able to keep it!

Most likely Trokia will get scraped in a few years. I'm sure ridership is down and matinence is up. Maybe it will get relocated soon, but not this year. It also might move parks. Maybe.

I would guess that if Troika Troika Troika survives the GateKeeper construction, it will stick around in that location for a while. What would be the point of keeping it there while a $25 million coaster is being added, and then moving it a few years later?

Didn't it just get a major overhaul 2 years ago?

Not to mention that Calypso is a lot older and in a more remote location and it's still around. I don't see Troika going anywhere, it's a fun flat ride perfect for the family.
