^Then the ride looks dumb. When photographing a ride, the last thing you want is something not running.
As much as some of us like to think it, inlcuding myself, the photo opportunities are not always the most important consideration... ;)

To answer an earlier question, there were 20 sections of track in the staging area as of Wednesday.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Hey I have watched the blogs and have just made my account. You guys all have really good ideas (well, most of you, haha) and I just had one thing to say right now before I go to sleep. Can we really say it isn't an inverted intamin like Volcano? Those kind of coasters use the triangular track, and well besides Wicked Twister (and Steel Venom), if you count them as inverted coasters, there aren't many around. I think something like Volcano would be an amazing addition to CP, and it would be something new.
The inversions on Vocano look awful "sidewind-ish" to me.
Just a thought. You don't have to yell if it's a dumb thought, lol.
The only thing that doesn't look like it are the footers, there are a lot of them for the inverted ones, and I am not seeing as many here...
I am just gonna stop now...
I've considered the inverted possibility, and it just sounds too much like Raptor and Wicked Twister.
It's confirmed, it's a coaster. They say its a sit down, so that unfortunately eliminates ^^. This narrows it down to only the AquaTrax and the mega looper(assuming that there not building another of what they already have). If you guys don't think it's just between those two, look at their site. Those two coasters are the only ones besides the types we already have with this type of track.

Well, it's a good thing we have RCDB around to confirm it for us. Until your post with that link, we had no idea it was a coaster! Hopefully, they'll confirm the color soon. :)
No way I would have guessed it was a coaster.;)
At least RCDB finally found out that something new was going in at CP.:)

^^^, ^^, and ^; When I said "It's a coaster", I was mainly talking to all of the thick skulled crackheads that are too stupid to realize that it's not a flume ride or a flat ride. Sorry for stating out the obvious for all the crackheads around here ; )

Give RCDB a break guys......they're just slow.:)
They could add more things to that like some pics and...oh I don't know... that it's an Intamin.

Just because RCDB says it's a sitdown doesn't mean it is. All new coasters on RCDB are classified as sitdown until more is known about them. Eejanika (The new 4D in Japan) was listed as a sitdown until it was confirmed by the park to be a 4D.
RCDB isn't slow. He was holding off on listing anything because originaly it seemed as if CP was trying to keep it a secret. I'm sure that he's listed it now because they have given up on trying to hide the track.

I watched people riding Snake River Falls one after the other today and the temp was in the low 50's.
Did I ride it? No. But will others? Obviously. This is going to be a coaster that doesn't drench you, IMO.

Sure, there will obviously be riders willing to get wet in low temps.....but is it a really smart idea? IMO, no.
I'm all for a water effect, but would prefer it to be something like ID's mist or Shiekra's water jet feature.

The nice thing about Sheikra is that the riders don't get wet at all. Only the spectators who stand in the waves path. That is something I can handle here I suppose.

MrScott... when i was waiting for Skyhawk around 9:15 there were still people riding Snake River Falls... I couldn't believe it...
For some reason when people were getting off they were shaking uncontrollable... I wonder why?
Ripcord Crew 2002 / MF Crew 2004
So anyway, the track at breakers. I think there is going to be two stations by the looks in the pictures. So 500 ft coaster? You may slap me silly for saying it but I do not care. The lift is going to be along the train tracks that would be cool.

What's more fun than getting soaked in 45 degree weather?
Getting hypothermia!!!
Keep in mind the low water temp, low wind temp and wind chill....and you got yourself some trouble. And even if the water was to be heated....it's not going to help. It's just to risky for most sane people. I would know, I fell through the ice at a lake when I was young. Different circumstances and temps, yes, but not all that much different.
