"Wow! That is a really huge pullout. After seeing in person how tall the tower is (which is about 200 ft) that pullout is going to start at about the 200ft mark on the way down."
I agree. The pullout is really big. I don't know if it's 200 feet, but it sure is massive. MF's pullout is not even close to this one, but for good reason. This thing is going to haul!
Switching topics. Wouldn't you think the launch would be on the side nearest the midway? I would think the launch would be the interesting part of the ride to watch. Unless another path is going to be made. Interesting :)

Concerning the bolts, I don't think that'd be a giveaway. Aren't both sides basically undergoing the same magnitude of compression and moment? I can't see a reason for one side to have two extra anchor bolts, but I'm not an Intamin engineer.

I might be wrong however, since, after looking at Twisted Rails, it appears as though Xcelerator has 8-bolt supports for both the end of launch/beginning of pullup and pullout. It just doesn't look, to me, like those tan supports that were up this weekend would be able to support a pullout at 110+ mph, even with the huge radius.

Your right, because if I said the things I really wanted to say I would end up sounding like you. Thats something I would like to avoid. Now that I think about it, what I just said sounds like you! I can't win...and will shut up now.

assuming that the track going up now is for the pullout, the track at the bottom of the pullout looks kinda thin...like brake track. then again, its obscured by trees, and it could just be my imagination. anyone else see it?
How can you tell this by looking at the web cam? I'm pretty sure it's your imagination.

The support structure is very close to or at the 200 foot level. It appeared eye-high from Magnum. The track is indeed on the far side of the tower, and runs from about 30-40 feet up to what I am guessing is 150-160 feet.
I saw no other evidence of construction elsewhere besides where it has been for the past few weeks. All the track presently hung is red; white and red track still rest on the ground in the constructioin area. On a quick side note the park was quite crowded yesterday, and many were gawking at the new attraction.
