TRACK BY THE SHED!!

I kind of agree but i still wonder where are the other "launch" pieces going to fit into the equation? If this is the case could they maybe use the same supports to hold up the hill and a lower set of track around the pond? I don't know..... just theorizing...

I think the other LIMs will be used for a lift hill, like california screamin, I believe that will take place directly over the current straight section and the drop will curve down to the right. One thing i think a lot of people are missing is that there is a fourth row of round footers alongside the section of track they put in today. If you look closely at the arials, you will see them. Also, alongside of the track installed today, there are two rows of smaller square footers.

Kinda like this (o=round, x=square) oxoxoo

I'm assuming it'll be like the Raptor. Isn't that a launch midway through the Raptor?

.............You mean the trim brakes? ;)

Ya know, brakes, launch......same thing, right? :)

I never said that I knew everything about coasters. It feels like it speeds up to me after it hits that area!

After it hits that area, it drops. Drops do tend to make you speed up. ;)

Yeah, because it goes down a hill. ;)

Piling on aside - I sure wish we could see the pics BGRooDoG took yesterday.

Yeah, go easy on Little Leslie on this one. Some of us (self included) don't know every little bolt or what the significance of a round versus square footer is. :)

And I agree with her that the taller elements are yet to come. As I see it, what we've seen so far is the latter part of the first half of the ride, leading into the mid-launch. If that's the case, we'll see bigger hills coming up and taller inversions as well.

Yeah, I really don't know every bolt! LOL For a while, I was calling the supports "beams!" :-)

Track has now progressed through the most recent left-hand turn following the straight-away. CP webcam.

The helix turn or whatever over the pond should be up very soon if it is going to go that way... who knows it might turn and go in another direction and do some crazy stuff *** Edited 8/31/2006 8:20:19 PM UTC by Kris_09***

Watch as that section rises, and then flips you upside down again ;)

I can't see too much on that webcam. But they won't end up taking anything into that shed until after the announcement is made. So the shed won't be such a mystery anymore (although, many of you seem to know what the shed is for). I like mysteries. :-(

(X-Rider. I'm surprised that you lasted this long. Kudos to you!)

The shed is for electrical components for the launches. If you go back and look at the first pics of the shed's foundation, you can see they left rectangular spaces out of the block. That's for all the conduit (laying under MFs first turn) to enter the building. Take a look at Wicked Twister or TTDs electrical sheds and they're the same.

EDIT: Actually, someone showed me a picture of the shed that had electrical panels or something already inside. *** Edited 8/31/2006 10:53:25 PM UTC by halltd***

I beleive theres going to be a HUGE incline loop over the pond, thatd be SWEET! although It would have to be pretty large given the footer placement... an 80mph launch into an incline loop over the pond

Halltd: Someone showed you a picture of the shed & it already had things in it? Don't be stingy. Share....

It was several days ago. But, Doug has a new update on PointPixels.com which also shows equipment inside the electrical shed. :)

Thanks for the information! I'll have to go there to check it out.
