It doesn't seem to be banking at all to me.
Correction
Actually, the support near the end of the track does appear to be angled, indicating that its heading toward the left.

I actually think that they will stop putting up track in that direction.. maybe add a couple of banked track going out toward the pond but they will have to halt progress there until the rest of the coaster is built....
a) The pond will most likely (not sure how else they would get workers to the footers) need to be drained
b) If they continue progress the footers suggest that the crane would eventually build track around itself closing it in...
I think they will finish the elevated station/lift hill supports and/or begin support and track erecting with the end of the ride going backwards and meeting back with the track that we see now *** Edited 8/30/2006 10:30:29 PM UTC by Serenity***
It's not that I'm afraid to die; I just don't want to be there when it happens
Just to make it clear for some people, its banking to the left. The track will head to the pond, NOT the first section that was put into place.
Ok I think I've made myself clear.:)

Ha ha DUH! that would be a short coaster than w/ extra footers for decoration lol. Yea i think the turn over the pond is going to be like MF with the huge non inverted turn or something else even better.
I have a sneaky feeling that this will be a mid-launch, and above or next to that shed will be the station.
We all know that this station will contain the electrical for the ride. Now, how much electric does a chain coaster need, not much. But a LIM launch needs lots. Looking at that shed, and also remembering how much electricl went into WT, I say, this would be a great place for both launches to take place, one in one direction and the other in the other direction... hence, we are going on a whole new direction!
Well.. if you would pay attention... WT and P07 both share the same shaped "Electrical Building"

yay for the same electrical building. i just was looking for a picture to put on here to show that, but then you posted.
shaneman99, it certainly has been mentioned and discussed, but things currently seem to be suggesting a launch.

Heeey....my observation was valid. :-(
It's hard to see anything through that track in front of the camera. :-)
"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"
i asked this in another topic but ill ask it here to since its pretty much the same. if the straight away is a mid-course launch, do you guys think that the train will slow doen then launch, or enter the straight away get a boost then exit faster?
I'm assuming it'll be like the Raptor. Isn't that a launch midway through the Raptor?
"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"
The straight section of track currently in place is not for a brake run. The section of track near the shed is slanted uphill toward the swan boat pond, making a brake run possible only if the train approaches from the end nearest the shed. This cannot be true because there would not be enough room for the train to stop, enter a station, and somehow start moving fast enough to go around the turn into the inversions.
Some guesses at Records: Worlds tallest inversion? Worlds longest steel coaster?
I keep looking at a certain picture and looking at the footers, this thing appears less than 50% done.
There are enough footers and supports out there for a complete second level of track. (Not stacked other than the station though)
*Edit* I must be sleepy
