Yea sept 7th will answer a lot but its fun to guess

I've been of the inclination for a while that this would have a lift hil (either traditional or LIM launched) and a mid course launch. After seeing these latest developments, I'm only more convinced of that. I too agree that out of this current launch area, we'll see it turn left, and head over the Swan Pond area, before returning to the main construction area. As for the tunnel with theming, I think it's a fantastic idea, and at this point, a definite possibility. Only time will tell, but this one is really shaping up to be a winner! :)

Take care and God bless!

The next piece of track is in place and it indeed is rising and banking to the left. :)

I noticed that too j2k! It looks like things are proceding according to our imaginations! ;)

I wonder how fast the launch will be..can't really be too fast

I couldn't tell what it was doing on the webcam because the track in front of the webcam is blocking it. It looked as if it was going through that small building at first.

"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"

You beat me to it j2k. It is indeed turning to the left and heading right for the pond. I'm getting really excited about this coaster. Its definately gonna be fun and unique.

I just hope that this construction area isnt the only area the coaster will cover, as its not very big. But they could fit a lot into a small space, but still. I hope it goes somewhere else other than this small area.

I was originally hoping for it to leave too, but having seen how much they've already put in the area and by looking at the remaining footers that paint a pretty obvious final return run, I think CP is going to have another stellar ride on their hands.

OMG - I figured it out!!! :)

Look on the cam and you can see that the track they just installed is going to connect up with the first piece they put down. So, its just going to be a launched oval coaster - sorta like the old slot car tracks we had as kids.

Then, the green track is going to be installed on the remaining footings, but higher than the red coaster. So, everyone was right. There ARE going to be two coasters. A red one and a green one.

Maybe Intamin just shipped the coasters to the wrong park when they really meant to send them to Holiday World?? *** Edited 8/30/2006 9:14:10 PM UTC by halltd***

I actually think that turn over the pond will be another inversion similar but taller to the ones already there. (swoop left and up into a roll, then swoop down and right)

Now that's an interesting idea j2k, and a very cool sounding one at that. There's not much I like more than diving down towards water!

lol, i guess we will find out on the 7th. ;)

Or tomorrow when that part of the ride goes up ;)

Well My only question is why is the launch track so long if it's supposebly going to go and do a helix over the pond? I am starting to think that there won't be some regular helix as stated above but some kind of new element. Also I think that this ride could be a bit like California screamin since it also has a launch and several LIM powerd lift hills.

Well I guess I have to wait a few more days.

If the launch is that long is not going to just do a little helix turn over the pond. It's most likely going to launch into a very large inversion (hopefully :)).

2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator

They should just call this Top Thrill Dragster Jr. That long length of "launch" track looks like deja vu to me. Its a tad interesting that this coaster was being planned when TTD was being constructed too. Yes, yes, I know they're not the SAME, but that element is strikingly familiar. Then again, I have also said that Maggie and Millie are strikingly similar too. So, nevermind. :)

by the way, it looks to me like the ride is banking to the right, not the left, back toward what already is built, but thats just what i see, could be wrong
