There are some already there I believe..and Ive been wrong many times so far with how supports can interconnect with each other, so I dont think we're seeing the tallest supports...not yet anyways..

We can only hope so! And let us not all forget about some of the really crazy support pieces we still have yet to see at the site.

What made everyone so certain there would be a mid-course launch on this ride before they built that long strip of track? I was under the impression it was a simple brake run before I saw the track start an incline toward the end.
If there are two launches, I'm wondering where all the footers are going to be for the track to circle the site more than twice. To me it looked like there were only enough footers for one more circle around the site. If the other launch will go in the opposite direction, it would need to wind all the way back around the site to connect with the existing track, therefore the second launch would lead into nothing more than the turn over the former swan boat pond. Before hitting the brakes. Would they really add a second launch for such a short segment of the ride?
I'm hoping this two launch talk is correct, but it's hard for me to believe so many elements are going to fit on such a small piece of land.
The reason I thought it would be a MCL is because they had the supports for it in place for a while. So when you look at it head on, you could see that the track would be rising.

It looks to me like they're simply building the 'short' part of the ride first, then they're going to build the 'tall' stuff later. I wonder when they're going to tackle the swan pond area...

as soon as the track is connected over the pond, they will install the bigger supports and intertwine the track. the total length of track should be somewhere around 4500 to 5500 feet. expect three more inversions and another two camel humps.

Someone made those up a few weeks ago as his idea of what it might do.

After careful consideration and spending a couple hours looking around at the site today I honestly think what they put in today is the first or second launch here is why:
1. The pieces of track next to the electrical building that were installed today look like this: http://www.pointpixels.com/4images/details.php?image_id=8071
Only thing I observe is that they have stopped putting this style of track up because of the curve towards the pond.
This piece, http://www.pointpixels.com/4images/details.php?image_id=8077 , and these pieces http://www.pointpixels.com/4images/details.php?image_id=8083 are still in the staging area.
2. The general consensus is that all of the above pictured pieces are for some sort of WT style propulsion system.
As well why would there be a brake run to stop the train no where close to where it can be relaunched?
So after all this my conclusion launch 1 is elevated and sends rider towards the pond and up a larger hill (thus the reason for the 8 bolt supports out over the pond) turning right and then eventually a second launch that fakes you out thinking you are going over the pond but really ends up giving you a second lap around the entire site ( thus the need for all of the footers that are next to ones now already in use).
Anyways sorry so long just wanted to get all my thoughts out and maybe provoke some more thought... ;)
Thanks,
Aaron
No fake out, the launch that is in place now will proceed to the pond area. ;)
