Track ARRIVES!

Maybe the wind just took care if those lol

It couldn't be too bad out there, the webcam is showing the crane moving around today. Maybe today will be the first piece of vertical construction?

Or just testing the crane?

Just checked the webcam, and it looks like they already have the supports up for the first turn after the station, if not the track pieces as well!

You are right! They may start the lift soon!

I dont see anything.

Its a little left of the bass of the red crane. Some of it is blocked by the crane.

Of course, for the past couple days I have been busy all day and only have time to check the webcams at night. Luckily tomorrow I'll actually be able to see what's going on! If track and supports really have started to go up, then I'm really excited.

I think what you're seeing is WT's aqua supports behind the crane. I see they kind of have a light green color to them. I can't see any gatekeeper track yet, but maybe soon :)

Umm. I think it is the supports. They are a different color than aqua.

I'm with rich92102p, I don't see anything. I think some of ya'll are a bit too anxious. :)

I know that we're all a little anxious to see vertical construction, but yesterday around 12:45 it definitely looked like the supports and track were up. If anyone is taking screen shots for the time-laps videos, I wouldn't mind seeing the webcam shot around 12:45pm. I realize that it doesn't look like there is anything up right now, but it was pretty convincing yesterday.

There's a facebook page that is following Gatekeeper really well and I would assume that something as important as the first steel to be erected would have been posted. Not saying that whoever is running the page has unlimited access to the site but it definitely seems something they would have posted.

if the supports and track were upthe guy on facebook had pic by now but we dont. give it time we will see them up soon .

If track and supports were up, I'm sure Cedar Point would be posting pictures and Jeff and Walt would be posting pictures too.

The large crane has not picked up any steel yet. It's barely moved. I doubt any steel is up yet.

I think they may have been right....there is track and supports up. Check Facebook. They must be using the smaller crane.

Is the track going to be filled with sand? I thought they said it was but someone posted somewhere else that it will not be filled with sand.

They don't have to fill every piece with sand. The track and supports that go over the entrance will probably be filled.
