^They will probably arrive within the next few days. And I really do love the colors. I think this will become the most picturesque coaster in the park, especially given its location.

Hmmm.....the "preferred parking" area would be a great place to store the track. It is already fenced in anyhow and would be easy for the red crane that's already there to pick up the pieces being so close to the construction site. The little fence around it already is exactly like the one that was used back in 2002 to surround the yellow Dragster supports, track, and brake trim back by the Soak City parking lot. It was in plain view for anyone to see.
Yesterday around 7:30am I saw two flatbed trucks pull through the parking lot with what looked to be long white coaster supports, both trucks were loaded down. That is all I saw because next time I checked the webcam view all of the cameras were down and have been ever since.

Does anyone know why they don't built a coaster in order of pieces? Like... Starting with the station, then lift hill, first drop, etc...
I'm not an engineer, a construction manager, etc.. but I think they do it in a certain order so the crane and other equipment aren't boxed in.
I'm sure there are other reasons.

Stations and the final brake run usually are still the first sections installed due to the large amount of work that needs to be done in this area regarding brakes, kicker wheels, sensors, and the control system. It is a good idea to get these done first so that work on these systems can be done at the same time as the rest of the track work.
Lift hills normally are next due to the height, but not always. The previous statement about stations generally apply here too.
A big factor that plays into construction sequence though is the layout of the terrain/obstacles of the construction area. If there is only one way in or out for a large crane, and a higher element needs to be built farther into that area then it will be constructed first and left so that smaller more maneuverable cranes can build the rest.
Another factor is cost. Most of the cranes you see are rented, and the bigger the crane the higher the cost per day. If you are the one trying to keep a project under budget you want that huge money hungry crane to be there for as little time as physically possible.

Yes that is the picture I saw. Thanks for the backup, I did not get screen captures at the time for proof.

Track is not always put up the same way. In some cases, it's by the manufacturer's recommendations. This ride should go up with absolutely no "fitting" problems. So, in theory, it shouldn't matter where you start. Clearly, with the crane, time is money, so you can expect those high pieces to go up pretty darn quick.
Remember the first piece of Maverick that was installed? It was actually a section of the turn after the drop. How's that for odd?
