Yesterday around 7:30am I saw two flatbed trucks pull through the parking lot with what looked to be long white coaster supports, both trucks were loaded down. That is all I saw because next time I checked the webcam view all of the cameras were down and have been ever since.
Are they down on purpose??? 0__0

More photos are up as of about an hour ago. Looks like the transfer track?
I asked Annie at the tour this past weekend. She doesn't know who runs the page. So, unless it's full time employees running the page, this level of coverage probably won't continue much past this weekend.

Considering how Cedar Point has previously handled situations where employees share info like this, I'm a little surprised the page is still online. I believe there is/was a pretty strict warning during training about sharing confidential or restricted information online. Perhaps their view on such things has been relaxed.
I like the cam where it is, and I think it'd be a shame if they moved it now.
First of all, it provides an overview of the entire job site, so we'll be able to see all the construction - including the front gate replacement. Secondly, there'd be no time lapse video chronicling the entire project. If they move the camera now, we'd miss the removal of SS and DT, as well as the construction completed up to this point.

Considering that we are all the biggest coaster nerds, we are also considered the roller coaster paparazzi... Once a coaster becomes famous and is new to the scene, we just can't stop taking pictures of it and stalking it! "Gatekeeper track, look over here! Supports, hold your bolts onto the track and look like you love each other!" Snap, Snap, Snap! LOL I just made myself laugh
I agree^ Once we see vertical construction that cam will show the hill and the keyholes and the turnaround, like dj said, the entire project. If they wanted to move another camera to a different part of the site, I'd be ok with that but hopefully they leave that one where it is until the coaster is finished.

It does? I certainly can't see a god damn thing from where it's at. An overview of the entire job site would be from the top of Windseeker.Maybe because there's not much to see at this stage of construction. Would you prefer they zoom in on one of the piles of dirt?
A pile of dirt is more exciting than a parking lot that is going to be empty for 6 months.
