I would like to chime back in and say Mack rides did have some gray track staged on their property.

Also, not saying that it will, but if the 420’ Observation Tower; “as it is right now” does get repainted, I wonder if they will change the color scheme of Iron Dragon?

One can only hope. Those macaroni and cheese yellow supports are not flattering.

So somebody posted one of these keychains on EBay. This is his description. Once in a lifetime opportunity. During coastermania 2023 they announced an old ride that has been down for a few years will be reopened next year and that this keychain will grant you access to be one of the first riders . Get it while you can!

I didn’t hear them come out and say that the keychain will grant you anything specific. There are assumptions about it but they did not say that. Did they?

Nothing clear was said as to what the keychain will be redeemed(?) for, no. But Tony did say that they will have value in May of 2024, so it's an easy assumption to make.

people thinking the keychain is a first rider pass are gonna have a what’s in the shed level letdown.

I think it's pretty great that someone put theirs up for sale. If it sells, great, the seller gets incredible value out of an item they didn't pay for, and that is almost certainly not worth even a quarter of the list price. And if it doesn't sell the only thing they've lost is a bit of time to make the listing.

I'm surprised they started so low. I told a buddy that mine was his for $50k. :) Obviously facetious, but if you can reach the right person who really wants it, never say never. After all, people spent thousands on sand.

It got quiet because the thread was moved to its own section for no real reason, and nobody knows where it was moved to. I originally thought it was deleted. Not sure why one ride needs its own section for one thread, but dunno.

I access the site through "recents" so this thread has always been included. Didn't even know it had been moved until just now when I looked. Maybe more people access the site through "forums" than I would have thought (which I suppose makes sense given I never understood the usefulness of Notifications given I can see which threads have new posts when I access the site).

So rumor has it the launch cable on Kingda Ka snapped and the resulting rollback damage some brake fins. Obviously unrelated to the TTD update but thought it is worth mentioning.

If someone doesn't have the mental competence to locate a forum, probably better that they don't try to engage in communication with folks who aren't limited by a single digit IQ.

New projects for a new year typically get their own forum. Stuff discussed about that gets moved to that forum.

I'll be at the park later today and will let you all know if it's done yet.

Are you certain everything that will happen for the 2024 season is only happening to one ride?

This is pretty standard on this forum for as long as it's been around. The new year additions usually get their own forum when construction ramps up or announcements/teasers are made.
