Didn't notice that, it could have something since it is capitalized.

The "U" is not a complete, connected shape. It also could outline the shape of the path of a swing.
This is fun!

Actually, as stupid as it may seem, the U may in fact mean something. It is capitalized, and they always have perfect posts in complete grammar. Probably just the beggining of the name of what they are going to announce.
millenium, Cedar Point IS Cedar Fair. You cleared nothing up, you just made a laughable stupid statement.

HA! Please, millenniummystique... I understand that having joined only within the past month, you might not understand things that happened over a year ago. As you can clearly see in this article ( http://www.pointbuzz.com/news.htm?id=39 ) Cedar Fair L.P. (Cedar Point's parent company) is the group that purchased the park formerly known as Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. I just thought that I would "clear you up."
Last public train of 2005 on MF!
I'm still laughing. Its so entertaining when people get all smart assy with incorrect information.
Anyway, I'm starting to think we may in fact be getting 2 flats, or 1 flat 1 water ride, like some of you guys. This one peice of swing just came to early. If I remember right the first parts of maXair didn't show up till after the announcement.
I bet the announcement is that they're tearing down TTD.
2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force

Cedar Point isn't Cedar Fair. Cedar Point is a park owned by Cedar Fair. Cedar Fair is the mother company.
As it states on the Cedar Fair website:
Cedar Fair, L.P. (NYSE: "FUN") is a publicly traded partnership, which owns and operates seven amusement parks and five water parks. Cedar Fair's seven amusement parks are Cedar Point, located on Lake Erie between Cleveland and Toledo; Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, near Los Angeles; Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom near Allentown, Pennsylvania; Geauga Lake, located near Cleveland; Valleyfair near Minneapolis/St. Paul; Worlds of Fun, located in Kansas City, Missouri; and Michigan’s Adventure near Muskegon, Michigan. The Partnership’s water parks are located near San Diego and in Palm Springs, California, and adjacent to Cedar Point, Knott’s Berry Farm and Worlds of Fun. Cedar Fair also owns and operates the Castaway Bay Indoor Waterpark Resort in Sandusky, Ohio.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Cedar Fair owns Cedar Point and Geauga lake. I guess I kind of worded it wrong, I meant that by saying Cedar Point owns something, it actually means Cedar Fair owns something, that was the basis of saying Cedar Point is Cedar Fair. Your right, now that I read it it did not sound how I wanted. I should of said Cedar Point is *a part of* Cedar Fair. Regardless, he specifically said Cedar Point owned Geauga lake, and Cedar Fair didn't, and thats hillarious.

I wish. Send it back for a refund! ;)
If this announcement is about some HW Undertaker U thing, then I am going to create T & T voodoo dolls. Its not that I cannot live without a new ride announcement, but rather I have issues with the way they go about preparing for said announcement. They know that we're watching and scrutinizing everything they write, right down the mysterious capital U, for crying out loud. I mean, c'mon, is the GP really gonna pay that much attention to a capital U?!? Doubtful, at best.
So, T & T, if you are listening... this announcement better not be HW related, or the wraith of djDaemon shall be a plague on your houses... and you will be forever enshrined in my mind as demented sadists.
((( And before I get the standard: "The blog is not there specifically to announce a new ride", keep in mind that I already know that. The way they are going about this clearly has more than one purpose. They know we are watching their every move and examining every nuance. They're toying with us. )))

The fact that they work at CP should mean they already have plenty of fun at their jobs... at least more than I do!
Brandon
I'm guessing the U could be part of the new attraction's name, if that's what they plan on announcing.
I can see it now...
".....and for 2006, Cedar Point will be opening U TOUCH SKY....This ride is similar in design to Screamin' Swing, but is a whole 5 feet taller...."
*SNORE*
