Tony/Tyler Teasing Us Again...

The blog is there to help draw interest in CP. Whether that interest be in a new ride, or just the park in general. I guess you cold consider that an advertisment, but it depends on your definition of advertisment. I think people are taking it to seriously, I think one of the main reasons they created it, was for fun. It is suppose to be fun for people to read, and I bet it's fun for Tony and Tyler.

I know it's fun for me to read and it has shown me a "behind the curtain" look at the park. I like it.

Seriously.

Capitalism is all around us. What COULDN'T be viewed as advertising?

Is it just me or did they delete the topics about TTD opening back up?

Yup - prolly cause its back down again...

Brandon

I wish Tony and Tyler were teasing us in the latest entry: TTD is now down the rest of the season.

Couldn't agree more. Sigh

We still have Millennium Force, the #1 coaster steel coaster.

I guess Intamin can't have two 400+ foot hydraulic launch coasters open at the same time.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

They had to have deleted the post about TTD being back up from last weekend. I sent them a comment and no response from them or post. Maybe they knew it was not going to last through the end of the season. So much for getting one more ride this year:(

Check out the Blog. The anounsment is tomorow at 9:30 am.

Yeah... prolly has something to do with (insert anything except new ride here).

Brandon

don't you think the anounsment is coming too early. i believe that they have not teased us enough like holiday world did. or maybe this anounsment is just for something else, even for geauga lake's waterpark. then we will have to wait longer to find out what cedar point is getting.

Announcement. They may just be telling more about the announcement and not the actual thing, the way the blog entry reads...

I think all they will be doing is telling us when the announcement will be.

I don't think they'd call tomorrow an "announcement" if all they're doing is "announcing" when the real announcement will come. I don't think mid-October is too early. It's probably to do with the new ride, or maybe even their acquisition of Six Flags properties (although I don't know if they'd just blurt that out on a blog so soon.)

They can't offer cheap tickets this time *See page 1 for reference*... well, maybe they can for 2006.

I wouldn't hold my breath for anything new, though.

This is the Cedar POINT website, not Cedar Fair. Why would they announce a different parks ride or expansion? You wouldn't see a new kids area at SFOT on the SFMM site would you? I find it highly unlikely. They are different parks, not one park split into two.

Hey, they got the part for TTD, and are going to open it this weekend making lines shorter everywhere else! ;) (sarcasm)

From everyone on the CP&LE, RIP Mayor Scott...~

It could be saying CF is going to buy SF.
