"Don't Dream It....Be It"
Not only did you display your obvious rude and inconsiderate behavior, but you also had the balls to blame the customer. That is hardly what Cedar Point is about. Hmmm, I can definitely see why this crew has been getting complaints.
RetroRipCord02 said: Hey All- I must say I was kinda surprised but most of all I was sick. Sick that a bunch of people who have never worked in park op could sit here and judge us on one bad experience.
In the real world, people decide whether or not to visit the park again based on the one bad experience....whether or not to make purchases in the tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars based on a single impression.
And were you actually to achieve a position of prominence in the real world, you'd have to be even more attuned to the needs of your customer and the little dance called 'keeping them happy' (and their $$$ in your pocket) would become far more intricate.
Not that you'll ever amount to much with that attitude...you won't. Either you'll learn to choke on that silly little pride of yours or you'll never even make manager at your local Wal-Mart.

Anyway. I said nothing of real life issues. This is a summer amusement park. If it were my job for the rest of my life I'm sure I would take it a little more seriously. As for my job as the general manager at the local Wal-Mart, I love it. Thanks =)

OMG, sarah you are starting to show your true colors. Hmmm, most of us take pride in ALL of our jobs. Regardless, if it's a low paying job to being a CEO of a company. But apparently, you are saying you don't take your job at Cedar Point as serious as you would your *life job*. You guys on the RipCord Crew are just showing why you are getting complaints.....

And you'll be just as successful at 'taking it more seriously' as fat people dieting three weeks before the prom.
Michael had me believe you guys had a bad day....then you had to speak for yourselves and ruin it.

Yup, my thoughts exactly, Playa. I see they are definitely showing their true colors, which is substantiating Michael's claim.

ok this has to stop,
first of all, you have no clue who i am or what i am even like
I don't want to, actually. Cause Im sure you will be rude to me, too.
You can tell them,"Hey,look--you're going to do something really, really stupid," and just to show you a thing or two they'll do exactly what you said they would do.
May I suggest saving your tuition money for cartons of Marlboro, cases of beehive hairdo spray and a double-wide?

Well sorry interval is pretty damn important cause if we don't hit it we get yelled and rotation is usually held for a certain amount of time.
Adam, Costaplaya expressed it perfectly. Pay attention and lose your piss poor attitude. Besides that, if interval is so important, how come interval was almost never made when I rode Blue Streak? Yes, I'm a guest moaning about that, 'cause I think some of you could have shown a little more enthusiasm and moved a little quicker.

It's great to live in Ohio!
So comments like "I don't want to (know you), 'cause Im (sic) sure you'd be rude to me" seem unfair - to me anyway, but whadda I know ...

You poor misguided person. An amusement park isn't the real world? Tell that to the managers, VPs, shareholders, union employees, etc., etc. People work there who support their families and count on the success of the park. They don't need a little princess like you disrespecting guests and giving the park a bad reputation. You were hired to do a job with certain standards of conduct, not blow things off because it's not your "life job". I hope you have this attitude now becuase you are immature and don't know any better. Not that it's an excuse, but maybe you can straighten yourself out. If not, then you shouldn't do anything more service oriented than draining the grease out of the fryers at McDonalds.

To Bill and Sarah: I am sorry if I sound like I am bashing you guys, but I dont think we as the crew should ever try to validate bad attitudes on the flight line or in the flight suiting area. While we all had them at one time or the other, saying that it is ok for those attitudes to be in the workplace is unacceptable. Please dont let this mess with the great summer we all had!
