Whatever it is they are in no rush to finish it. Vertigo was thrown up in a couple of weeks. This thing looks the way it did on opening day.

How about a giant thrill ride? This one seems to make sense: http://www.hussrides.com/34GiantDelirium.htm
It says that it is a thrilling ride for the whole family and we know that CP is going for the family too. It takes 4 supports so maybe we can't see the 4th footer yet? The footers have 12 bolts coming out of them so it might hold some large supports. Read the stuff on the page of that link and then click tech specs and you will see what I am talking about. It might not be that but could be some other kind of large thrill ride. The only thing anyone can do right now is guess so I guess I am just guessing. ;)

For the record, I think you're 100% incorrect. ;)

How did you do that?
You made this thread more stale than they did...
Obviously, not stale enough
Folks, look at Huss...look deep into the matrix at Huss..

IT WAS AN IDEA! Ocean Motion, Troika, and probably a couple other rides there are made by huss... what is wrong with getting another Huss?
In looking at the photos of the site again, I can see how we can speculate that it could be a Delirium. Seems to kind of fit, except for that third footer (or whatever it is), that seems to be out of place. I wonder if that part has the tarp over it because it is the key to figuring out what is being built?
Matt: What do you mean by "look deep into the matrix at Huss"?

Before Wicked Twister I don't recall CP ever building an impulse ;) I know I'm being a bit sarcastic, but the point is that historic trends don't always necessarily hold true. The industry changes. I'm not saying there will or will not be a new coaster for 2003, but I don't think it can be ruled out based on past patterns.
I don't recall the last time CP built 2 coasters in 2 years, so I really don't expect another coaster for 2003.

1969 & 1970 Cedar Creek Mine Ride and Wildcat. Yes is was a long time ago, but it has happened before. Besides, it's been two years since SFWoA started expanding like mad in the coaster department. This would allow ample time for Cedar Point to boost their development department. I'm not saying it will happen, but it's definitely a plausible possibility.
