Test Runs

Those pictures had me convinced at first, then as this topic went on, I realized the things the others did. Something I noticed, the "object" on the track is way too long to be a train. It stretches out along almost 1/2 of the drop.

They have to start testing next week because they have to test the ride for a month before opening. I'm I right, I thought that's what I read?

They have been testing for a while now, just not at full power. I don't think there has to be a month of full power testing, just testing.

But I would definately like to see a train being launched NOW!! I have been sitting here, looking at those webcams for days!! (not really... of course, but I hate waiting)

World's first strata-coaster!

According to a full time employee, TTD has been fired up, but pull-thrus have not started. They will hopefully start this week.
where have you been.....there will not be a pull-through over the top hat......most likely they will fire this thing at like 10% , 20%, 30% and so on.....until it makes it over the tophat...
I am looking at the webcams for about 10 minutes now, and I see trains moving around back and forward. Actually, I´m pretty sure testing has begun. I am still waiting to catch a train on top of the hat... but I seriously think the launches are set to a scheme in which a webcam can never photograph a moving train!!

EDIT: I know you will only be convinced when I show you a picture, but I´m now seriously positive about TTD testing started.... I just cannot catch one live on the webcam...!! AAAAAAAARGH!!

Attn: gijs janssens, I am monitoring the same activity! I continue to refresh the web cam in case I catch a train at the tophat. Someone please post a picture if they happen to catch the action!
Attn: It is safe to go outside. It is good for you. There is no need to site at your computer and watch a compter screen allday.

I live in Holland, so it´s pitch black outside... I´m too tired to go outside and to much thrilled to turn my computer off!!

Holland?? Wow,are you going to make it over here to ride it?
No offense, coaster runner, but I just happened to come across it on the web cam it and have NOT been sitting at my computer all day. Besides, I live in NY...I wish I could make a quick trip to CP to see some TTD action.
It wasn't aimed at you or gijs it was aimed that those people that all they do is watch the web cams even when its pitch black.

It is my understanding after speaking to some reliable people over at the park today that testing has in fact been going on but the trains have not been sent all the way over the tower yet. That should be coming soon.
Hello, I can tell all of you guy/girls that there was no over the top images today. I can tell you this with no doubt in my mind because I have some software that will tape the web cam images all day long. If anyone wants, I will try to make a video and post it on a website of today’s events, just to show you guys. (Only if I have time, sorry I go to school during the day)
I would definitely be interested in seeing a time lapse video. Just don't let it interfere with your priorities. Always remember that family comes first, school comes second, and GTTP comes in a close third...

I really hope to pay the US and in that case CP a visit. I have been following the construction of TTD since the first track segments arrived (august? september?) and riding this beast must be awesome..

The fact (?) there where no over the tophat tests yesterday... I can believe that. There was a constant moving forward and backwards of trains, but in the 30-40 minutes I monitored, no train was spotted at the track, except at the stations (brake, unload, load and wait/launch). The constant moving of trains and my computer refusing to save JPEG files didnt give me the opportunity to really look at what was really happening....

it looks like they are getting ready to test run today, they hake moved trains into position and trains have been moved around to diff. positons from where they were yeasterday
