Test Runs

How many test runs does TTD need in order for it to be opened?

I don't think it has to be a number, jsut enough to make sure everything works multiple times. I wonder if they "misfire" it on purpose to check the rollback...

I thought I read somewher ethat Millennium Force had over 1000 hours on it before it opened-that is like 41 days, but it is over 6500 feet long too,I would assume Dragster wouldn't get this much testing. How much did Wicked Twister get anyway-anyone know?

They have already started testing the tire drives and low speed hydraulics, so I think that counts as running it for testing.

Florida may have Disneyworld and Key West,
but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.
It's great to live in Ohio!

I have saved 2 webcam images of what i believe to be the start of full circuit testing.

I have circled of what i believe to be the train going down the hill.

Notice, In this save...Only a minute later on the next refresh...This object is gone. I wasnt sure about this, I wanted to know what you all think.

It looks like you can see the "fins" of the back of the train

I did some investigative research in Photoshop and it appears to me to be a train (or at least something abnormal). Comparing it to previous pictures from the same locale, something is def. there that was not present earlier.

In my opinion, they have begun "over-the-top" testing. But you can believe whatever you want.

I would definately have to say that is a train. I don't believe it could be anything else. Watch the cams tomorrow, I bet we'll see a few trains go up and over the top.

I think its just that one support that sticks out from the side. Thats what your thinking is the fin, and then the rest is just the area where the track bows out slightly for the twist. I'm skeptical about it being a train.

But can you explain why a support would be there one minute and gone the next?

are you one of those people that just stares at the cam all day and all night :-P ?
And did anybody see the green lights on the tower base?
It is not a support is is the track coming away from the stucture for the spin so you don't hit you head. I can't beleave no one can tell the difference between the car and the structure.
Actually I did mention that but I believe that what appears to be the train's "spoiler" is the support that holds that part of the twist.
Big Jon... Did you even bother to look at both pictures? The "object" is there one minute then not the next. Its not a support, its a train.

I have to believe that's a train. Unless the guy doctored up the picture and took that part out, but putting the 2 together it's obvious that a train was going down.

Looks like a train to me.
I examined the photos in photoshop also and it has ultimately convinced me. For one, that object in the first webcam photo looks exactly like a spoiler. I thought it was the support holding the twist also until I saw the refreshed webcam picture a minute later. I mean what the heck else can it be?? An object that is there one minute and not the next...hmmm...supports dont just "disappear". The only thing it can be is a train thats obvious. I am sure we can confirm that over the top testing has taken place. : ) yippy..These pictures are proof! All thanks to Big D for getting these. Anyone want to say it is something else other than a train, I would love to hear it.
