The ride would be just fine. Y'know, CP has actually installed coasters before the interweb existed. Yeah, I know - hard to believe, but its true.
Sadly, I think the discussion here would remain unchanged as well.

I personally don't see what the big deal of keeping it a secret is...I mean, whether it's announced or not, it's still going to have a high anticipation from a large audience. And heaven knows, once it's announced, there will still be PLENTY to speculate about, we ALL know that.

Little Leslie, you keep giving your opinions. Some people don't understand or are unwilling to look into other peoples reasoning. As they say:
"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently..."
Here, just watch this. I stand by you, Little Leslie!
Nobody knows everything. Things that are beyond our imagination or understanding could be in production as we speak. Does that mean that it's a prototype or that it's going to be Forbes #1 New Invention of the year? Probably not. But it does mean that new things are always in production and on a drawing table somewhere. And whats wrong with imagination?
Little Leslie- I cant get a CP pass i live waaaaaaaay down here in VA. Im more of a HP, KD,DW native i usually make a park trip every few years. First trip to the trip in 07-08.

I never claimed to know everything. But, would you argue with me if I told you that concrete is as soft as velvet? Of course you would, because its simply not true.
Leslie was insisting that CP is hyping this project, when its simply NOT TRUE. End of story. What is there to be left to the imagination?
Brandon
i do not think cp is hyping anything i just wanted to know if any one did. i think that them teasing us is fun for this thread and other people who go to the park. they are just giving enough away to have people imagine what the ride will be like. they are doing this for fun so we should have fun with it.
dj - The concrete at the addition to the Louvre in Paris is REALLY soft. Well, maybe not soft, but smooth. :)
I'm not talking about anything in particular, I'm just saying that shooting down someone's ideas or thoughts isn't always a positive thing. Some people may put confidence in what they think, and I don't want anyone having their feelings hurt.
That's life. Feelings get hurt. And if your feelings get hurt by someone you don't know on a message board, its time to unplug and go do something else. I'm never trying to hurt someones feelings, but I'm not going to mince words because I might hurt someones feelings.

There is definetly a difference between the two. Personally, I couldn't care less WHAT people say. The bottom line is, just as you feel that you're not going to "mince words" because of someone elses feelings, other people have the right to express their beliefs or viewpoints without getting slammed against a wall. If it doesn't make much sense, or the evidence points otherwise, that does not give anyone the right to "flame" or completely destroy them.
Just because someone doesn't agree with what you're saying, or you don't agree with what someone else is saying, doesn't mean that either side is right. It's a message board, with rumors all over the place. If someone wants to express a thought, they should be able to do it without the worry of retaliation. That's all.
Thank you, Ryan! No, they don't hurt my feelings, sweetie; I don't care enough about them for them to hurt my feelings.
The whole thing is that it's my opinion that it's hyped up. And it's someone else's opinion that it's not. Unfortunately, one of those other people wants to argue with me so I can change my opinion to agree with them. That's where I have the problem. Telling someone they're ignorant and their opinion isn't true is purely arrogant & shows signs of someone who needs psychological help- in order to say those things on an unimportant subject like an amusement park message board.
It's a shame that I can't post my opinions on here, no matter how simple they seem, because someone else can't take it. Get a life.
Now I have to go because I have a life & I have a date!!
"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"
And pick yourself up one of these, while you're on the phone.

If you're trying to hurt my feelings, you're gonna have to work a lot harder than that.
Its nice to get a true indication as to your level of maturity, though.
Brandon
I've been trying to stay out of this but I couldn't really do so forever, its just not humanly possible! :)
Lil Leslie, I'm gonna have to agree with you, or at least in a way. Even if they are not hyping this ride, they are teasing us "enthusiasts" (as some of you choose to put it) and thus causing hype of the ride at least in a controlled group.
And I also have a life, I don't quite have a date but I'm going to a dance tonight! :)
Can someone help me out here?
I clicked on the topic named Teaser Wallpaper on Extra Point! and got garbage that had nothing to do with that title...
Is this a common mistake?
