What's this "Mean Streak" you speak of? I only know and care about Steel Vengeance.
It was a rough, boring wooden roller coaster. But it at least ran multiple trains :D

And I always go to the back of the book first.
Which is probably why I never learned how to math.
Apparently English/writing either: "...how to do math." :)
4 extra riders does make a difference for ride capacity :-) As far as the weight of the trains, I think when Mean Streak opened in 1991 wooden coasters that size should have been built with thicker cut lumber but would still have enough flex. Steel Vengeance trains look to be heaver than the PTC trains so with thicker cut lumber maybe a 7 car train operation could have been possible?? Just a wild guess??

My guess is that Cedar Point was really gunning for that 90-degree first drop, and with 205 vertical feet to work with, a 7-car train would have produced too much negative-G whip in the very back car.
Outside of “single rail” trains, what coaster has RMC manufactured that runs more or less than 6 car trains?
None. They’re all 6 car trains. It’s not a CP thing, it’s an RMC thing.
^Technically, Medusa ran with 5 when it had VR and TX Giant ran with 5 in 2013 and 2014, but both ordinarily operate with 6.
Just got out of SV and a wheel popped off and was literally a couple feet from hitting guests in Fast Lane. The train appeared to come to an instant stop and also ripped out one of the green censors. Not a good year for this ride.

Wow. I just got a night ride on it last night, and it was running great all day yesterday, still with 2-train ops. Without knowing more about it, it sounds like no one was hurt, which is good.

Is RMC the new Intamin? 😀
