How should I know? It doesn't disprove my point. The physical characteristics of a restraint don't make it more or less prone to failure because it's intense. It either holds a person in or it doesn't.

Now, do parks sometimes use height as a proxy to age determination? Yes, see rides like Ferris wheels or sky rides, which essentially have no restraints.

Apologies. In the future I will refrain from pestering you with inquiries, as they seem to be taken as opinions.

Looks identical to the rendering, doesn’t it?

To all at media day today, have a blast.

Checked the weather on NOAA for Sandusky during the Hoedown (only shows Monday and Tuesday right now). Sunny and 70s. Compared to today, this thing will be HAULING.

Still disappointed they didn't connect the MS and Gemini midways, seems like a missed opportunity. Perhaps they will some day though :)

Honestly, that would be really cool, especially considering that they can connect the two without worrying about a railroad crossing. However, it would probably be too much of a hassle to move those maintenance shops between the two rides, or at least block them off to public access. We'll see how the park observes traffic flow in the SV area of the park and assess if it would be beneficial to connect the midways.

I understand why people think connecting the Steel Vengeance plaza to the Gemini midway is a good idea. While there is the issue of the shops back there, there is a bigger one. That whole back area is a flood plane, worse than some of the other bad spots in the park.

The little lanterns up the lift hill flicker like candle lights after dark! Such a cool detail which most riders will miss.

Seems they're breaking in Chess? The black nosed train must be Blackjack, the silver nose Digger and the Gold nose Chess?

If we build it, they will come.

I'd ask the same of you. Don't assume everything is a "gotcha" attempt. I had an innocent question, you responded as if I was out to prove you wrong or something. Again, simple solution here, I'll just refrain from wasting your valuable time with any future questions.

Does anybody have any information to share on the supposed original plan to extend the Gemini midway up to SV? The maintenance shop is off to the side and wouldn't necessarily be in the way. I've even heard of a scrapped plan to extend the midway into SV's infield, which doesn't seem practical from the overhead shots. Under the shorter bunny hop section maybe, but the structure there is fully built out. Any plans would have been scrapped in 2016 at the latest.

Wait, why would they want to extend the Gemini midway to Steel Vengeance?

Are you talking about the original Enthusiast Plan to extent the Gemini midway and the original Enthusiast Plan for a Lighthouse Point entrance and the original Enthusiast Plan to open it in 2017 and the original Enthusiast Plan for a racing RMC? :D
