YES - the wood must be for a new wood coaster to debut in 2006!!!
Specs (estimate, based on amount of wood in lot):
Height: 7', Drop: 5.6'
Top Speed: 12mph, Length: 53'
[/sarcasm]
I'll bet my kidney that the wood IS NOT for a coaster.
As for the tag... its unlikely that there is any tomfoolery going on as far as storing it at CP, but you never know. Jugga's theory is plausible.

Though this is impossible (at least, it better be...) to be built at the Point, I almost had a heart attack at the letters above the bar code. ;)
I love the fact that people are starting to whine "ohh god not another flat ride" when people have been complaining for a long time on here "we need another good flat ride!!".
Some people are never happy. Just imagine living near a park that doesn't get a new ride except for every 3-4 years.
Be thankfull for what you have.

Gee... I thought I shed some light on the "label conspiracy" on page 77 of the AMAZINGLY LONG "new ride for '06" thread. Apparently not. Here it is: http://www.pointbuzz.com/cpplace.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=16916&page=77 About halfway down.
Also, after I posted that, Walt updated the 2006 Watch with his own pictures of the label. But hey, let's keep coming up with conspiracies. I heard that next year, to get in the park you will need to show your birth certificate and give a blood sample. ;)
(How many people are not going to understand the sarcasm?)

Here is an interesting article about S&S from fortune magazine:
The drag racing thing was installed in Orlando at, what, Old Town? The Sky Swat has been at Six Flags Astroworld, which is closing this week, and I think there's one at Thorpe Park in the UK.
Of course, you could never figure that out by looking at the S&S site, because some amateur moron made the entire site with graphics, so a blind person couldn't see anything, and you can't search the text on the site.
