If they put a giant steel coaster in SoB's place like I'm expecting (think Leviathan, but I'm hoping a more nimble Intamin with all-new comfortable restraints), wouldn't it be cool if they gave another sequel name like "Steel Beast," "Iron Beast," etc.? Make it more of a terrain coaster with long tunnels and a signature Beast helix at the end.
This would be clever on so many levels and get me much more excited than a generic steel coaster with a generic name. They could have a best steel and best wooden coaster with the iconic name so strongly associated with KI.
It will probably be replaced by a steel coaster, but it could be a GCI woodie. CP doesn't look likely to get a GCI in the near future, so there would be no overlap between the parks--if that is a concern of CF.
A pity CF didn't move quicker--relocating the Big Dipper and/or Villain and/or Raging Wolf Bobs would have been an option, not to mention a marketing point for Eastern Ohio markets.

^Moving one of those would have been a great decision. Last week I was at Wildwater Kingdom and while looking across the lake at the lonely Big Dipper, I thought how well that or one of the other Geauga Lake classics could have been easily relocated to CP. Fans of Geauga Lake would go to Cedar Point just for that ride, and coaster enthusiasts and any other guests would go due to a new ride. It just would have made perfect sense to do something like that.

^Raging Wolf Bobs has for sure, it has literally fallen down in some sections. But Big Dipper looks fairly salvageable, although I'm sure much of the wood would need to be replaced if the ride was ever moved
How and where are the trains???

I know they are tearing sown Wolf Bobs ! I have seen it when I was out there. It would be nice to see a happy ending for the Big Dipper! It does look so sad when I see it there in what is left of Geauga Lake. I miss that park! It is my home park! It is the closest to my house! I am happy that I have Cedar Point and it is going strong!!! Ride on!!!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs

Intamin has comfortable restraints. Take Maverick and remove the shoulder restraints and you have one of the best lapbars ever.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but it is nice to see a new wooden coaster with inversions coming in the year that Son of Beast is being removed (I know that SoB's loop was removed years ago though). Anyway, maybe Outlaw Run (the new coaster) will start a whole new category of wooden coasters.
