I think this is quite intriguing that you all are doing this. However, it will cost you. Assuming there are lights there, they aren't cheap to run. Also, how do you explain to the security guard when you're bringing in a softball bat. Doesn't that constitute as a weapon. Either way, I'm not involved so whatever. But I hope it works out for you. Remember, the 4th inning is the beer inning...or something like that.

1. All park lights have to be off by 11:00pm citywide
2. That field we were hoping to use has been reserved by girl scouts who have first dibs if there is a conflict.
Basically that means that we can't play there, since the only way to ensure that teams have enough players is to not start the games until after park close so that nobody is still at work. With the lights having to be off by 11, there's no way we could fit in a game before then, since park close during June weekdays is 10pm. The only alternative is to start the games at say 9pm with as many people as we have and hope others turn up as they get off work, but I'm not sure how well that would work. What does everybody think?

Yeah I think that is a good idea. I don't really mind if it's a league or not. It just sounds like a lot of fun and it gives something to do.
