Softball league

I'd say a good 5 inning game would work. Short enough where it wouldn't drag on all night or day, and just long enough to consider it a fair game.

hmm....If this field is in a public park, then the city should provide the lighting free of charge if you reserve it in advance. 5 innings seems a bit short for me, I think 7 would be about the right number. Also, keep in mind when you organize this, all of us process in at different times...like I get there at the end of may, so perhaps start the season around the first week in June so almost everyone whos going to be there, will be there.

I'm not trying to sound like a parent! I'm just trying to give information so that if this league is to proceed, ParkOpJon, or whoever else is organizing it, has the knowledge to know who to talk to, to get it underway!(I'm sure he wouldn't want to go through the runaround with CP, if they have no say in the field!)

I appreciate it entering4year. Got the phone number for the rec. dept in Sandusky today so I'll be calling on Monday to find out the dilly on the lights, etc. Stay tuned for more info... :)

Ok so compared to the college softball players, I really really suck. But hey i'm going to be sitting almost all day and i need to do somethgn active. So to give everyone else a cheap laugh and to work off a few pounds count me in.. Although i think a trip to Miejers is in my future! Just for reference.. I throw like a girl! (for that matter I catch like one too)

I can't catch worth S***. I can bat well. ;) So, I'm better to be an outfielder rather than the important infield. It's easier to recover from a dropped ball there than a dropped ball while tagging a base.... :) It's all for fun anyways. Or is it?.... ;)
