Nope. I absolutely hate green olives, whether they be hand picked, queens,, kings, stuffed, or not stuffed. Those things are a sure fire way to ruin the scrumpdillyicious chicken tenders.
I rode Snake River for the first time ever yesterday. I generally don't like getting soaked, so I have skipped the ride on almost every visit I have made. Before, on the rare times that I would actually ride the major soak you water rides, Snake River would be closed.
We used to make a habit of taking part of an afternoon, going back to Breakers and changing into crappy shorts, tank tops, and flip flops, then heading back to the park for several laps each on Thunder Canyon and Snake River Falls. With those outfits on and nothing in our pockets we didn’t care how wet we got, in fact we hoped for it. It was a blast and for me it was the only way to do those rides. Then when we had enough we’d go back to the hotel, get showers and put on clean clothes for an evening with dinner, drinks, and night time rides.
This was years ago. It’s been a long time since we took the better part of a week to stay at Breakers.
Now that we have established the SV free lockers are working can anyone confirm if the waterfalls on Thunder Canyon are working? Going in a few days.
I was up at the park yesterday afternoon/evening but didn't get over to the thunder canyon area until after it closed for the day. I didn't see any waterfalls but I don't think that means much since the ride was closed. A similar thread of Facebook had answers all over the map... several saying that falls were operating and others saying no. Hard to get straight answers online... But it appears that the waterfalls are on intermittently at least.
I'm hereby creating the unsubstantiated rumor that the Steel Vengeance lockers are powered by the same breaker as the waterfall pumps.

Per The Facebooks today:
So was at the point today for my daughter's bday had a great time! Go on thunder canyon one of our favorite rides, was so disappointed the water falls were off. Rant over!
At least it was a short rant.

As for the waterfalls, as you walk on Frontier Trail (which is presently "un-marked trail") near the Thunder Canyon entrance sits that lone employee on the lifeguard perch overseeing the river. That person often pranks the riders and intermittently shuts off the waterfall, thus disappointing bday riders. Since the circuit affects the SV lockers, those over there get the following message at the locker bank:
By the way, I hope the computer glitchy thing didn't adversely affect Jeff & pointbuzz.
Crowdstrike doesn't run on cloud stuff (which is all Linux based anyway).

Isn't there an observation point near Thunder Canyon where you can look down the river a bit and see if the waterfalls are running or not?
Yesterday my observation point was while on the lift hill for Maverick. Thunder Canyon river trough was drained, at least at 10:10am.
Yesterday (Sunday) at 7:15pm the waterfalls on Thunder Canyon were working and riders were getting soaked.
I believe Thunder Canyon is scheduled to open at noon, so it being drained at 10 AM isn’t a surprise.
