Well, there’s hope. Not sure if anyone noticed this weekend or not, but the pond is filled with water and there’s a boat parked in the station at Snake River Falls. However they probably couldn’t start testing if they wanted too, as the water level after the runout where the cement part of the barrier/trough to get back to the station is currently above the top of the barrier/trough as of this afternoon.

Useless trivia: Snake River Falls is the only operating (non-kiddie) ride in the park I have never ridden. Never taken that Pepsi Plunge.
When we were there last week they were cycling SRF; watching from the brief line for Skyhawk. More than once a boat would go up (and one time we watched two go up) into the "shed" (or whatever you call that structure at the top), and they would not come down. My guess is that they were testing some safety feature that stops the boats from descending the hill.
Promoter of fog.
There’s a little lift before the drop that serves as a block brake. I’m not sure why they’d let a couple of boats stack up there but maybe they were testing scenarios.
I had 2 rides that came and went with me never taking a single ride. One was Swan Boats, Maverick fixed that one for me, and the other was Shoot the Rapids and Intamin fixed that one for me.
I'm not sure if I've ever been on SRF either. I imagine that I have, but maybe not. Also not sure about Pipe Scream.

It's been quite a few years since I've been on SRF but I do recall it giving much more of a butterfly in my stomach feeling than any other ride's drop in the park. Not sure if it's the impending wall of water that's coming or what but that feeling remains fairly vivid in my mind.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
