In anycase, I was able to ride it Sunday. It's definitely an enjoyable ride and offers great new views. And it's definitely a crowd pleaser with it's position on the midway.

However, I rode the slingshot in Orlando, so it was nothing new to me. I still prefer getting 2 rides on Skyscraper for $10. It's a more thrilling ride to me personally.

^ Yeah I love the extra 4 minutes of nonsense. That's terrible. You'd think someone would notice the video was a bit longer than expected.

How long have these rides been around for?

I was thinking the same thing when I heard that. Unless some huge advances in technology have been made, its the same system that has been used for years now.

To me it looks pretty tame. I have seen the ones that use bungee cords and they look terrifying and insane with an out of control amount of flips.
